Research Records definition

Research Records has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(a).

More Definitions of Research Records

Research Records has the meaning set forth in Section 2.5.
Research Records means those records which are created specifically for the purpose of conformance with the terms of a research protocol or clinical trial andwhich would not be created absent the patient’s participation in the applicable trial. Research records do not include clinical documentation regularly created for patients who receive the same service outside of a research trial. Research records are not part of the legal medical record.
Research Records means the record of data or results that embody the facts resulting from scholarly or scientific inquiry, or creative practice including but not limited to, Research proposals, laboratory records, both physical and electronic, progress reports, abstracts, theses, oral presentations, internal reports, journal articles, and any documents and materials provided to an Agency, or University official in the course of a preliminary review or investigation of an allegation of breach of the University’s Research Integrity policy.
