Supplemental Markets definition

Supplemental Markets as used in this agreement, means only the exhibition of television programs by means of cassettes, pay-type CATV, or Pay Television as those terms are hereafter defined in this paragraph and the exhibition of television programs on any commercial carrier such as commercial airlines, trains, ships and buses (referred to herein as “In-Flight”). It shall also include television programs originally produced in English and dubbed in non-English languages for free TV exhibition under the circumstances described in par. (d), below.
Supplemental Markets as used in this Agreement, means only: The exhibition of motion pictures by means of cassettes (to the limited extent provided in subparagraph (i) of this paragraph (3)), or pay television, as those terms are hereafter defined in this paragraph (3), and the exhibition of television motion pictures on any commercial carrier such as commercial airlines, trains, ships and buses (referred to herein as “in-flight”).

Examples of Supplemental Markets in a sentence

  • The Federation shall have the right, at reasonable times, to examine the books and records of Employer insofar as they relate to the its gross from distribution in Supplemental Markets.

  • Employer shall furnish to the Federation written annual reports showing the its gross receipts, in accordance with the foregoing, from distribution of programs in Supplemental Markets.

  • Payments of any Supplemental Market fees due under this Paragraph 17 shall be made annually on the basis of annual statements, as hereinafter provided, except that the initial fees payable on release in Supplemental Markets C(2)(a)(i) shall be paid within sixty (60) days after such release.

More Definitions of Supplemental Markets

Supplemental Markets as used in this Agreement, means: The exhibition of theatrical motion pictures by means of cassettes (to the limited extent provided in paragraph (l) of this subsection D.), or Pay Television, as those terms are hereafter defined in this subsection D.
Supplemental Markets as used in this Agreement means only: The exhibition of Programs by means of cassettes (to the limited extent provided in subparagraph 1 of this paragraph B), pay type CATV and pay television, and the exhibition of Programs on any commercial carrier such as commercial airlines, trains, ships and buses (referred to herein as "In Flight").
Supplemental Markets as used in this Agreement, means The use of radio programs by means of cassettes, CATV, pay television, cable television and Radio Works, Internet, ROM or radio as those terms are hereafter defined in this paragraph, and the use of radio programs on any commercial carrier, such as commercial airlines, trains, ships and buses (referred to herein as "in-flight"),or any other means of non- re-use not as yet established. For the purpose of this Agreement, a cassette is any audio device, including, without limitation, cassette, cartridge, phonogram or other similar audio device now known or hereinafter devised, containing a radio program (recorded on disc, tapes or other material) and designed for replay on a home-type screen or radio. The sale or rental of cassettes for replay on a home-type screen or radio in the home, for educational use, or in other closed circuit use, such as hotel rooms, constitutes the "Supplemental Market" for the purposes of this Agreement. CATV: service: Use of radio programs on home-type television by means of transmission by a Community Antenna Television System (CATV)where, in addition to the obligatory general cable charge to the subscriber for the CATV a further charge is made for programs selected by the subscriber; or, the has the option, by payment, addition to the standard subscription charge, to receive special programming over one or more channels which are not available to the without such additional payment. Television: Use of radio programs on a home-type television by means of broadcast, cable or closed circuit in which the audience pays to receive the program by a separate payment for such specific programs. Free Radio: Use of radio programs on a home-type radio set by means of broadcast for which the audience makes no payment. Computation of Payment

Related to Supplemental Markets

  • Portal Market means The Portal Market operated by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. or any successor thereto.

  • Financial Markets means international financial markets in which currency and other financial assets exchange rates are determined in multi-party trade.

  • Reference Market-makers means four leading dealers in the relevant market selected by the party determining a Market Quotation in good faith (a) from among dealers of the highest credit standing which satisfy all the criteria that such party applies generally at the time in deciding whether to offer or to make an extension of credit and (b) to the extent practicable, from among such dealers having an office in the same city.

  • Reference Market-Maker means a leading dealer in the relevant market that is selected in a commercially reasonable manner and is not an affiliate of either party.

  • Individual market means the market for health insurance coverage offered to individuals other than

  • securities dealer means a person or entity that is authorized under provincial legislation to engage in the business of dealing in securities or any other financial instruments or to provide portfolio management or investment advising services.

  • Markets means the stock exchanges and regulated markets set out in Appendix I;

  • Reference Treasury Dealers means (1) X.X. Xxxxxx Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and their respective successors; provided, however, that if any of the foregoing shall cease to be a primary U.S. government securities dealer (“Primary Treasury Dealer”), the Company shall substitute another nationally recognized investment banking firm that is a Primary Treasury Dealer, and (2) at the option of the Company, additional Primary Treasury Dealers selected by the Company.

  • OTC Markets means either OTC QX or OTC QB of the OTC Markets Group, Inc.

  • Deutsche Bank means Deutsche Bank AG and its affiliated companies, as the context requires.

  • Barclays shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the preamble to this Agreement.

  • Capital Markets Debt means any debt securities or debt financing issued pursuant to an indenture, notes purchase agreement or similar financing arrangement (but excluding any credit agreement) whether offered pursuant to a registration statement under the Securities Act or under an exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act.

  • Major Markets means [***].

  • London Stock Exchange means London Stock Exchange plc;

  • Rating Agency Communication means, with respect to any action and any Securitization, any written communication intended for a Rating Agency, which shall be delivered at least ten (10) Business Days prior to completing such action, in electronic document format suitable for website posting to the 17g-5 information provider under the applicable Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Stock Exchange The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited

  • Reference Treasury Dealer means: (1) Citigroup Global Markets Inc. or X.X. Xxxxxx Securities LLC, and their respective successors; provided, however, that if any of the foregoing shall cease to be a primary U.S. Government securities dealer in New York City (a “Primary Treasury Dealer”), the Company will substitute for such firm another Primary Treasury Dealer; and (2) any other Primary Treasury Dealer selected by the Independent Investment Banker after consultation with the Company.

  • Street Trading means the selling or exposing or the offering for sale of any article (including a living thing) or the supplying or offering to supply any service in a street for gain or reward.

  • Quotation Agent means the Reference Treasury Dealer appointed by the Company.
