Exercise Period. (1) American Style Warrants American Style Warrants are exercisable on any Exercise Business Day during the Exercise Period. The following provisions apply to Clearing System Warrants held by a Common Depository on behalf of Clearstream, Luxembourg and Euroclear and/or any other relevant Clearing System and Euroclear France Warrants: If (i) the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is not specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms or (ii) if the Warrants are Physical Delivery Warrants, any American Style Warrant with respect to which no Exercise Notice (as defined below) has been delivered in the manner set out in Condition 6, at or prior to 10.00 a.m., Luxembourg or Brussels time, as appropriate, on the Expiration Date, shall become void. If the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms, any such American Style Warrant shall be automatically exercised on the Expiration Date and the provisions of Condition 6(I) shall apply. The Exercise Business Day during the Exercise Period on which an Exercise Notice is delivered prior to 10.00 a.m. (Local Time) to the relevant Clearing System or to the relevant Account Holder (in the case of Euroclear France Warrants), and the copy thereof is received by the Principal Warrant Agent or, if the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms, the Expiration Date, is referred to herein as the "Actual Exercise Date". If any Exercise Notice is received by the relevant Clearing System or, as the case may be, the relevant Account Holder, or if the copy thereof is received by the Principal Warrant Agent, in each case, after 10.00 a.m. (Local Time) on any Exercise Business Day during the Exercise Period, such Exercise Notice will be deemed to have been delivered on the next Exercise Business Day, which Exercise Business Day shall be deemed to be the Actual Exercise Date, provided that any such Warrant in respect of which no Exercise Notice has been delivered in the manner set out in Condition 6 at or prior to 10.00 a.m. (Local Time) on the Expiration Date shall (i) (x) if the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is not specified as applying in the applicable Final Terms or (y) if the Warrants are Physical Delivery Warrants, become void or (ii) if the Warrants are Cash Settled Warrants and Automatic Exercise is specified as applying in the applic...
