ABSENCE LIMITATION. A. Absence from duty due to attendance at GEA meetings, for Personal Leave and Professional Leave shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the staff in a given building at any given time. Personal leave shall not exceed five percent (5%) in May in a given building at any given time. B. Exceptions to this provision may be approved by the Superintendent upon request from the GEA representative, the teacher involved, the Building principal, or at the Superintendent’s discretion. C. Part time tutors are excluded from this provision.
