Academic Senate President Sample Clauses

Academic Senate PresidentBeginning July 1, 2020, if the Academic Senate President (or designee) is a 10- month employee, they will be available no fewer than twenty-one (21) additional working days beyond their 10-month contract during the summer for which they will receive a stipend equivalent to one (1) month of their current monthly contract salary. This will be paid in the first paycheck in the fall following the completion of summer duties. The additional working days shall be arranged by mutual agreement with the Superintendent/President for the summer no later than the 8th week of the spring semester. The work performed by the Academic Senate President (or designee) during these 21 days will be the work customarily performed by the Academic Senate President according to the Academic Senate by-laws. In the event that the Academic Senate President must appoint a designee for summer duties, the name of the designee shall be provided to the District no later than the 8th week of the spring semester prior to the summer in which the individual shall receive the stipend whenever possible.
Academic Senate President. The Academic Senate President shall receive 15 LHE of reassigned time in each Fall and Spring semester and a step shift of 6 during the period of their tenure as president. Additionally, a total of 6.0 LHE shall be awarded to the Academic Senate President for Senate duties to be used in intercession as determined by the Academic Senate President.
Academic Senate PresidentIn addition to the five (5) CTLC allocation for the Academic Senate, the District agrees to allocate $1,500 to the Academic Senate President and Faculty Co- Chair of Curriculum for the cost of attending the Academic Senate Conferences in the fall and spring to receive training. Any additional costs may be submitted to the Staff Development Committee.
Academic Senate President. The second report shall include: 1. Any unit member that did not receive “recommended for continued employment” that year. 2. The District’s response to each evaluation team’s recommendation. By February 15 the second report will be sent to the: 1. Director of Human Resources.

  • Vice President In the absence of the President or in the event of the President’s inability to act, the Vice President, if any (or in the event there be more than one Vice President, the Vice Presidents in the order designated by the Directors, or in the absence of any designation, then in the order of their election), shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President.   • Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.

  • President and Vice Presidents The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Trust. The president shall, subject to the control of the Trustees, have general charge and supervision of the business of the Trust. Any vice president shall have such duties and powers as shall be designated from time to time by the Trustees.

  • The President the Treasurer and the Secretary shall be elected by the Trustees upon the occurrence of any vacancy in any such office. Other officers, if any, may be elected or appointed by the Trustees at any time. Vacancies in any such other office may be filled at any time.

  • Chief Operating Officer The Chief Operating Officer shall be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Company and shall see to it that all orders of the Chief Executive Officer are carried into effect.

  • Vice Chairman In the absence of the Chairman of the Board, the Vice Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and of the unitholders of the MLP; and he shall have such other powers and duties as from time to time may be assigned to him by the Board of Directors.
