Act of God Days. A. When schools do not open to children due to inclement weather, teachers are not expected to report for duty. When schools are closed due to inclement weather, teachers are not expected to remain on duty for more than one (1) hour after students are dismissed unless it is agreed by the parties that teachers should remain for the balance of the regular work day. If school is not open for the day, such information will be disseminated through the local news media.
