Acting Leading Hand Allowance. An Employee required to perform the tasks of a leading hand will be entitled to an all purpose allowance per hour in accordance with Appendix A. Typically, a leading hand is an Employee appointed to carry out tasks such as planning work and/or directing and supervising other Employees. An acting leading hand may be a casual or temporary appointment.

Acting Leading Hand Allowance. An Employee required to perform the tasks of a leading hand on a temporary basis will be entitled to an allowance per hour in accordance with Appendix A. The allowance will be paid as a flat rate allowance for each hour worked with no penalty or premium (e.g. overtime, shift or public holiday penalties). Typically, a leading hand is an Employee appointed to carry out tasks such as planning work and/or directing and supervising other Employees. An acting leading hand may be a casual or temporary appointment.

  • Vehicle Allowance (a) Vehicle allowance for all kilometres travelled on the Employer’s business shall be paid to employees who are required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties.

  • Kilometrage Allowance An Employee who is authorized to use a privately owned automobile on the Employer’s business shall be paid a kilometrage allowance of $0.4415 cents per kilometre. The Employer will adopt the civil service kilometrage rate effective the date of a tentative agreement being reached between the parties, provided that such agreement is subsequently ratified. Thereafter adjustments will be made in accordance with, and on the same effective dates as adjustments to the civil service rate.

  • Fast Food Allowance As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an allowance of $2.75 per hour on all fast food construction, and on refurbishments with a building permit value in excess of $470,000. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents. On any Project where the applicable site allowance in Appendix C is higher, then that site allowance will apply.
