Active Teachers. The District shall provide individual or family insurance coverage (whichever is applicable) to all teachers through the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHSIP), Prime Plan - Core Plus medical and Psychiatric Enhancements. The District shall provide, to teachers who so choose, individual or family insurance coverage (whichever is applicable) through the Health Insurance Program of Greater New York (HIP) instead of through the NYSHIP coverage. Payment of the premium for coverage shall be shared between the teacher and the District as follows: a) Teachers shall pay twenty percent (20%) of the premiums for either Individual or Family coverage, as appropriate, with the district paying the remaining eighty percent (80%). Effective July 1, 2021, teachers shall pay twenty-two percent (22%) of the premiums for either Individual or Family coverage, as appropriate, with the district paying the remaining seventy-eight percent (78%). b) The District will continue to assume payment of fifty percent (50%) of the premium for the optionalwrap around” policy.

Active Teachers a. The unit’s participation in the MVP HMO Plan shall be limited to those unit members enrolled as of June 30, 2016. DEHIC Alt PPO Plan contribution rate for current employees shall be increased to: • 85% District/15% Employee effective July 1, 2016; • 84% District/16% Employee effective July 1, 2017; • 83% District/17% Employee effective July 1, 2018; and • 82% District/18% Employee effective July 1, 2019. For all unit members hired on or after July 1, 2016, DEHIC Alt PPO Plan contribution rate shall be 82% District and 18% Employee. The DEHIC EPO 20 contribution rate shall be 90% District and 10% Employee. For those unit members who elect to participate in the Xxxxxx Permanente or M.V.P. individual health insurance plans, the District shall pay up to the dollar amount the District pays for individual unit members enrolled in the DEHIC Alternate PPO, and for those unit members who elect to participate in the Xxxxxx Permanente or M.V.P. family health insurance plans, the District shall pay up to the dollar amount the District pays for unit members in the DEHIC Alternate PPO, family health insurance and the unit member(s) shall pay any cost exceeding such amount. b. Health insurance programs shall be subject to change by mutual agreement. c. As soon as is practicable, unit members whose spouses are also employed by this District shall be prohibited from enrolling in a second family coverage or an individual coverage under the District’s health insurance plan if the spouse is enrolled for family coverage. Nothing shall preclude each spouse from enrolling for individual coverage under said health insurance plan. Where a dual coverage is given up due to the operation of this provision, an annual health insurance buy- out in the amount of $1,500.00 shall be paid to the affected unit member. d. The District, in consulting with the MTA, shall implement a §125 IRC flexible benefit plan as soon as practicable.

The remainder of the premium obligation shall be paid by the employer.   • Supervisory Employees ‌ For the purposes of this Article, the parties agree that Supervisory positions are those that are not excluded under Article 2.0 above and that satisfy the following criteria: a) Employees on Salary Schedule 01 who under Plan A "Nature of Supervision" have either Degree 3 (or higher) or its equivalent; b) Employees on Schedules 02 or 03 on condition they normally supervise other employees.

  • Mentor Teachers A. A Mentor Teacher shall be defined as a Master Teacher as identified in Section 1526 of the School Code and shall perform the duties of a Master Teacher as specified in the School Code and State Administrative Rules and Regulations. B. Each bargaining unit member in his/her first three (3) years in the classroom shall be assigned one or more Mentor Teacher(s) by the Administration. The Mentor Teacher shall be available to provide professional support, instruction and guidance. The purpose of the mentor assignment is to provide a peer who can offer assistance, resources and information in a collegial fashion. C. A Mentor Teacher shall be assigned in accordance with the following: 1. Participation as a Mentor Teacher shall be voluntary. 2. The Mentor Teacher assignment shall be for one (1) academic year subject to review. The appointment may be renewed in succeeding academic years. 3. Should either the Mentor Teacher or the Mentee present cause to dissolve the relationship, the administration will meet with the Mentor Teacher and the Mentee to determine an appropriate course of action. D. Upon request, the Administration may provide release time so the Mentor may work with the Mentee in his/her assignment during the regular work day. E. Mentees who are new to the profession shall be provided with a minimum of fifteen (15) days of professional development instruction during their first three (3) years of classroom teaching. F. Performance responsibilities of a Mentor Teacher may include but not be limited to: Work to establish a relationship with Mentee based on mutual trust, respect and collegiality; provide encouragement, support, guidance and feedback when needed; help Mentee feel welcome; take part in training to enhance teaching and mentoring skills; complete periodic evaluations of Mentor-Mentee program, as requested; contact mentees, minimally once a week, for formal or informal meetings; help Mentee learn about resources, procedures, curriculum, students' needs, building and district policies, regulations and schedules; promote a smooth transition between teacher training and the actual classroom setting; facilitate three-way conferences involving the Mentor, Mentee and Principal; provide opportunities for Mentee to observe the Mentor and other teachers; share new and alternative materials, methods and resources with Mentee; observe Mentee's teaching in a classroom setting; conduct pre and post observation conferences; and assist Mentee with goal setting.

  • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The parties agree that they will continue the Joint Labor-Management Committee to discuss matters of mutual interest relating to the employees covered by this Agreement. Topics for the Joint Labor-Management Committee may include, but are not limited to, Professional Development, Incentive Pay, etc. The Committee shall meet quarterly or as mutually agreed by the co-chairs. The President of CWA or designee and the Director of Human Resources or designee shall serve as co-chairs.

  • Management Team Subject to any approval or consulting rights of the --------------- Joint Operations Committee, Manager shall engage or designate one or more individuals experienced in dental group management and direction, including, but not limited to, an administrator, who will be responsible for the overall administration of the Practice including day-to-day operations and strategic development activities.

  • LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Section 1. In order to facilitate communication between labor and management, a Labor Management Committee consisting of the Department Head and/or his designated alternate, the Assistant Chief of Police and two (2) Team Managers, and three (3) representatives of the Lincoln Police Union, along with at least one (1) Team Representative, will make up the Labor Management Committee. The Department Head will designate management personnel and the Union shall select Union representatives. Members will serve at the pleasure of the Department Head or Union President, depending upon who the member represents. Members will serve and be replaced on a staggered system (approximately three (3) year limit) depending upon the schedule agreed upon by the Department Head and the Union President. Section 2. Each Team area will be represented by a member of any rank to serve as spokesperson for that area. They will meet at least one week prior to the monthly Labor Management Committee meeting to formulate the common areas of interest and to elect a spokesperson to present the items in writing to the Labor Management Committee. Payment for attending this meeting will be at the discretion of the Department Head. Spokesperson will be chosen on a rotating basis. Team representatives will be picked by a vote of the Team members that they are representing. Section 3. The Labor Management Committee may discuss any area of the Department, with limitation only on those areas already under agreement between the City and the Union. The agenda will be based on the problem areas brought to the attention of the Committee by the Team Representatives and on any area representative members of Labor Management feel need to be discussed. Topics for discussion will be posted on the Union bulletin board and disseminated to Labor Management Committee members at least one (1) week prior to the monthly meeting. Section 4. Membership is subject to change through attrition and elected office, however, a one (1) week notice must be given to the Committee to afford the new member(s) voting privileges. Section 5. Realizing that communication is the key element to the smooth operation of any organization, the Labor Management Committee will xxxxxx an element of cooperation and unity of organizational members, be they labor or management. Section 6. Meetings shall be held at least once per calendar month. Additional meetings may be scheduled by mutual agreement of the Committee and the Department Head. Section 7. A quorum shall consist of two (2) members from labor and two (2) members from management.

  • New Teachers No new teachers shall be hired for a vacancy for which a teacher on unrequested leave is certified.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.
