Additional Child Care Leave. (a) At the request of the Flight Attendant, a Flight Attendant may elect to extend their parental leave for a period of three (3) months without pay.

Additional Child Care Leave. (a) A leave of absence up to two (2) years, without pay, commencing upon the expiration of the leaves specified in 15.10.01 and .02 will be granted to a Flight Attendant, upon written request, when his/her health or that of his/her child requires it. The Company requires a written request be accompanied by a certificate of a qualified medical practitioner.

  • Extended Child Care Leave ‌ Upon completion of maternity, adoption and/or parental leave, including any extension to such leaves, a regular employee will be entitled, upon written application, to a leave of absence without pay to care for the child. Subject to Clause 11.3(a), the following conditions shall apply:

  • Child Care Leave (a) An employee who is the natural or adoptive parent shall be granted, upon request in writing, child care leave without pay for a period of up to thirty-seven (37) weeks.

  • Childcare Leave Every employee with at least three (3) months service and who has a child (including adopted children and step children), below seven (7) years old, regardless of number of children, shall be eligible for paid childcare leave in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Employment Act and Children Development Co-Savings Act, where applicable.

  • Compassionate Care Leave (a) Compassionate care leave will be granted to an employee for up to eight (8) weeks within a twenty-six (26) week period to provide care or support to a family member who is at risk of dying within that 26-week period in accordance with section 49.1 of the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
