Additional Flexible Work Arrangements. In addition to Clause 11.1, Unity Bank recognises the different responsibilities and obligations employees’ have outside the workplace and is committed to ensuring that work practices accommodate both Unity Bank’s requirements and the individual circumstances of its employees, as far as reasonably practical. Additional flexibility offered below may not be available to all employees due to the nature of their position and business requirements. Additional Flexible Work Arrangements. Additional flexible work arrangements include arrangements ranging from altered start and finish times to partial working from home arrangements. Employees may request flexibility in their work schedules so long as those schedules can be accommodated within the work unit needs. An employee’s regular hours of work shall not exceed 7.83 hours a day. If the Employer determines that an additional flexible work arrangement results in the organization not meeting its business or operational needs or that the arrangement is not in the Employer’s best interests, then the Employer is entitled to discontinue the arrangement upon thirty (30) days' written notice to the Union and any employees impacted by the discontinuation of the arrangement. The Employer agrees that, in making a determination to discontinue arrangement, it will act fairly and reasonably and in a manner that is not arbitrary or discriminatory.
