ADDITIONAL IMPLEMENTING STRUCTURES. Steering Committee The Steering Committee is chaired by the FP. The Steering Committee is an advisory body to the FP regarding the identification, development and selections of proposals. The Steering Committee shall comprise of members from the FP as well as other ministries and actors from civil society. The Norwegian Financial Mechanism shall be invited to observe meetings and be allowed to comment on proceedings. Where appropriate, interested parties from the sectors in which assistance is applied for may be allowed to take part in meetings of the Committee. The Steering Committee’s tasks consist of giving opinions and making recommendations on projects to the FP, including determining which projects should be forwarded to the FMO. In order to properly evaluate project applications, the Steering Committee may create working groups and use individual experts or other institutions. It is expected that the majority of the funds are allocated to individual projects. The GOEA will appoint the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee shall include representatives of: • the National Focal Point; • relevant line ministries or governmental bodies; • social and economic partners; • regional and local level government; • NGOs.
ADDITIONAL IMPLEMENTING STRUCTURES. (Steering Committee, Monitoring Committee and Intermediate Bodies) Steering Committee The Ministry of Finance will establish one Steering Committee for the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the EEA Financial Mechanism. The Steering Committee is an advisory body to the NFP. The Steering Committee’s tasks include giving an opinion and making recommendations on projects that are eligible for support within the Financial Mechanisms, and in the case of Programmes and Block Grants, on the project selection criteria and application process. A representative of the NFP shall chair the Steering Committee. The Committee shall be made up of representatives of: - the NFP; - relevant line ministries; - the CFCA; - the Paying Authority (Treasury); - social and economic partners; - NGOs; - regional representatives (of 5 planning regions). The Chairman of the Committee invites, as observers, representatives of the Financial Mechanism Office, and, as appropriate, representatives of other institutions and organisations, whose presence could be essential to the effective implementation of the assistance provided by the Financial Mechanisms. In order to properly evaluate applications for funds for Projects, Programmes or Block Grants, the Steering Committee may create working groups and use the services of individual experts or other institutions.

The Monitoring Committee is an advisory body to the National Focal Point regarding the selection, management and monitoring of projects. The Monitoring Committee shall: • give recommendation to the National Focal Point on applications to be submitted to the FMO; • monitor compliance with the Rules and Procedures; • review overall progress and financial reports; • approve the Annual Monitoring Report prepared by the National Focal Point. The Monitoring Committee shall consist of representatives from: • the National Focal Point; • the CPMA; • relevant line ministries; • regional and local level government; • non-governmental institutions, including social and economic partners. Representatives of the Financial Mechanism Office will be invited as observers.

The Steering Committee’s task is to provide opinions and recommendations to the National Focal Point on projects that are eligible for support within the EEA Financial Mechanism. In order to appropriately evaluate projects, the Steering Committee could create working groups and use the services of individual experts or other institutions. The Steering Committee shall operate in an open and transparent manner. The Steering Committee is independent from potential applicants. It will be comprised of representatives of the National Focal Point, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Development., Ministry of Employment and Social Protection, NGOs, social and economic partners, and regional and local governments. The Monitoring Committee – The Ministry of Economy and Finance will establish a Monitoring Committee for the EEA Financial Mechanism in order to secure an open and transparent implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism. The Monitoring Committee is broad-based, comprised of members from relevant ministries, social and economic partners, actors from civil society and NGOs, representatives of regional and local administrations. Representatives from the FMO and the Norwegian Embassy in Athens shall be invited to attend meetings of the Monitoring Committee with an observer status. The Committee is responsible to the National Focal Point for the monitoring of project realisation within the framework of EEA Financial Mechanism. The Monitoring Committee is in particular responsible for the following: • reviewing overall progress and financial reports; • reviewing periodically the project progress; • reviewing the process in respect of the strategic priorities; • examining and approving periodical reports on the use of financial resources; • ensuring that the National Focal Point is fully informed about the progress of programs, projects and other specific forms of grant assistance and compliance with terms and conditions of the grant; • ensuring that publicity measures are correctly followed by Project Promoters.

  • SCOPE CHANGES The Commissioner reserves the right to require, by written order, changes to the scope of the Contract, by altering, adding to or deducting from the Bid Specifications, such changes to be within the general scope of the Contract. If any such change causes an increase or decrease in the cost of, or the time required for, performance of any part of the work under the Contract, whether or not changed by the order, the Commissioner shall, upon notice from Contractor as hereafter stated, make an equitable adjustment in the Contract price, the delivery schedule or both and shall modify the Contract. The Contractor must assert its right to an adjustment under this clause within thirty days from the date of receipt of the written order. However, if the Commissioner decides that the facts justify it, the Commissioner may provide an adjustment without receipt of a proposal. Failure to agree to any adjustment shall be a dispute under the Disputes clause, provided, however, that nothing in this clause shall excuse the Contractor from proceeding with the Contract as changed.

  • PURPOSE AND IMPLEMENTATION This Umbrella Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement" or "Umbrella Agreement") shall be for the purpose of collaborative research, development, and testing opportunities on various topics of mutual interest to enable advanced understanding of aeronautics, science, and space systems research and development and to provide workforce development in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while furthering NASA’s research and development goals. The Parties shall execute one (1) Annex Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Annex") concurrently with this Umbrella Agreement. The Parties may execute subsequent Annexes under this Umbrella Agreement consistent with the purpose and terms of this Umbrella Agreement. This Umbrella Agreement shall govern all Annexes executed hereunder; no Annex shall amend this Umbrella Agreement. Each Annex will detail the specific purpose of the proposed activity, responsibilities, schedule and milestones, and any personnel, property, or facilities to be utilized under the task. This Umbrella Agreement takes precedence over any Annexes. In the event of a conflict between the Umbrella Agreement and any Annex concerning the meaning of its provisions, and the rights, obligations and remedies of the Parties, the Umbrella Agreement is controlling.

  • Project Changes 1.8.1. All changes shall be administered per the UGC.

  • Implementation Schedule TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE with regard to all dates and time periods set forth and/or incorporated herein. Any material modification or deviation from an approved schedule described in this Agreement shall occur only upon approval of the City and RDA, with any such approvals required to be in writing as an amendment to this Agreement, and which approvals shall not be unreasonably withheld. City shall cooperate and act promptly with respect to any and all permits or approvals necessary for completion of the Project.
