Advanced Step Filing. A grievance claim on behalf of two or more teachers having the same grievance and grievances involving an administrator other than building level administrators may be filed by the Association at Step II of the formal grievance procedure. In all instances, grievances filed by the Association must be filed within ten (10) school days after the event giving rise to the grievances unless the grievant(s) could not have known about the event in the exercise of reasonable diligence, in which case the period will be ten (10) school days from the time when the event should have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence. No grievance shall be adjusted without prior notification to the Association and opportunity for an Association representative to be present.
Advanced Step Filing. The grievance shall be initially filed at the level where the decision or action resulting in the grievance was made.

Advanced Step Filing. 1. If the grievant and the Director agree, Step l of the grievance procedure may be by- passed and the grievance brought directly to Step 2.

Advanced Step Filing. A. In the event that the immediate supervisor of an employee is the Superintendent of Schools, the first formal level shall be the Superintendent level.
B. The first formal level for class grievances which involve employees from two (2) or more locations shall be the Superintendent’s level.
Advanced Step Filing. 1. If the Association and Director agree, Step 1 of the grievance procedure may be bypassed and the grievance brought directly to Step 2.
2. If the Association and Director and the Board agree, Step 1 and Step 2 of the grievance procedure may be bypassed, and the grievance brought directly to Step 3.
3. If the Association, the Director, and the Board agree, a grievance may be submitted directly to arbitration.
4. Class grievances involving one or more teachers or supervisors, and grievances involving an administrator above the building level may be initially filed by the Association in Step 2.

3. Class grievances involving one or more employees or one or more supervisors, and grievances involving an administrator above the building level may be initially filed by the employee or the Association at Step 2.
