School Board Meetings. Meetings of the School's Board and its committees shall comply with the Minnesota Open Meeting Law, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13D.
School Board Meetings. 1. The Union will be provided time on the agenda of each regular School Board meeting for brief comments. If the Union has a formal presentation, it may request a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Board. The Union shall notify the Superintendent’s office of the proposed length of the Union’s presentation, the subject matter thereof and any specific action to be required from the Board or administration at the meeting.
2. The Union shall be provided two (2) copies of Board agendas and minutes before and after each meeting.
School Board Meetings. The Association President or his designee shall have the right to 4 attend School Board meetings. The Association President or his designee will make arrangements 5 with the Superintendent to attend any Board meeting held during working hours. The Association 6 will reimburse the District for the wages of the Association employee who attends a Board meeting 7 during working hours.
School Board Meetings. The Association will have the opportunity to suggest items for the agenda and to speak on those items. The Board will consider such items for placement on the agenda so long as those matters are made known to the Superintendent's office no later than ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date of the meeting.
School Board Meetings. The Board may place on the agenda of the regular Board meetings under "New Business" those matters to be presented by the Council to the Board for consideration of such matters outside the contract. Such items for the agenda must be received by the Superintendent's office on the Tuesday preceding the regular board meeting on Monday.
School Board Meetings. A representative of the Association will be recognized on each School Board agenda, and a copy of the school board packet shall be sent to the Association president prior to each Board meeting.

1. A copy of the public agenda of all School Board meetings shall be made available to the official Federation representative at least 24 hours prior to the meetings or as soon as the agenda is prepared. The Federation representative shall be advised as soon as possible of all meetings of all the School Board.
2. A copy of the approved minutes of all School Board meetings shall be made available to the official Federation representative.
School Board Meetings. The Association may appear before the Board as a delegation at any regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting.

If the Association has a formal presentation it shall be afforded a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Board. By noon of the fourth calendar day prior to the meeting, the Association shall notify the Office of the Superintendent of the proposed length of the Association’s formal presentation, the subject matter thereof, and any specific action to be requested from the Board or administration at the meeting. The Association agrees not to use its right under this Section for the purpose of collective bargaining with the Board or any of its members. Prior to the commencement of each meeting, the Association shall be provided a copy of the “Agenda of Board of Education” and any informational material that appears appropriately related to an issue with which the Association is involved.
School Board Meetings. The Cascade Bargaining Council and/or Madras Education Association have the right to address the Board at any regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting.
