ANIMAL COMPLAINTS. Police officers shall not be required to handle the animal complaints historically handled by the animal control officer unless it is an emergency. The parties further agree when animal control officers are not on duty, police officers shall respond to any call for service that involve barking dogs, animal bites, and vicious, stray, or injured animals. All other non-emergent animal control complaints shall be forwarded to the animal control officer and handled during normal duty hours. If it is determined that services of the animal control officer are needed after hours, approval of the shift supervisor on duty shall be required.

ANIMAL COMPLAINTS. The Residents must immediately and permanently remove any animal from the Leased Premises if there is a reasonable complaint against the animal. These complaints may include but are not limited to noise disturbance, waste management, aggressive behavior, or odor. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to determine whether the animal has disturbed Residents or other neighbors.   • Complaints Investigation The employee who complains of harassment under the provisions of the Human Rights Code must first comply with the Employer’s harassment policy procedures before filing a grievance or human rights complaint.

  • Infectious Diseases The Employer and the Union desire to arrest the spread of infectious diseases in the nursing home. To achieve this objective, the Joint Health and Safety Committee may review and offer input into infection control programs and protocols including surveillance, outbreak control, isolation, precautions, worker education and training, and personal protective equipment. The Employer will provide training and ongoing education in communicable disease recognition, use of personal protective equipment, decontamination of equipment, and disposal of hazardous waste.

  • Study An application for leave of absence for professional study must be supported by a written statement indicating what study or research is to be undertaken, or, if applicable, what subjects are to be studied and at what institutions.
