Animal Control Officers. Animal Control Officers will be required to work a twenty-one (21) day shift schedule. The schedule will commence with seven (7) work days (evening shift), three (3) days off, followed by seven (7) work days (day shift), four (4) days off.

The CITY shall authorize competent and qualified personnel of the SOCIETY to serve as Humane Officers to enforce CITY animal control ordinances and state statutes relating to cruelty and abuse. It is specifically understood that the Humane Officers hall not be entitled to enforce any CITY ordinances other than those provided for and authorized by this Agreement.

Summer Hours - March 1 - October 31 The regular day shift hours for Animal Control Officers shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. inclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid, uninterrupted meal period. The regular evening shift hours for Animal Control Officers shall be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., inclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid, uninterrupted meal period. Winter Hours - November 1 - February 28 The regular day shift hours for Animal Control Officers shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., inclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid, uninterrupted meal period. The regular evening shift hours for Animal Control Officers shall be from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., inclusive of a thirty (30) minute unpaid, uninterrupted meal period.
Animal Control Officers. Animal Control Officers shall work four (4) consecutive ten (10) hour days on, followed by three (3) consecutive days off.
Animal Control Officers. The CITY/COUNTY shall authorize competent and qualified personnel of the SOCIETY to serve as Humane Officers to enforce CITY/COUNTY ordinances and state law relating to animal control. Designated Humane Officers shall be authorized to issue citations, according to the procedure authorized by the liaison officer of the Rapid City Police Department and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, for violations of the CITY/COUNTY animal control ordinances and state statutes relating to cruelty and abuse. It is specifically understood that the Humane Officers shall not be entitled to enforce any CITY/COUNTY ordinances other than those provided for and authorized by this Agreement.
Animal Control Officers. The TOWN will employ such Animal Control Officer(s) as, in its sole discretion, it deems necessary for the proper implementation of the letter and spirit of its obligations under Article 7 of the Agriculture and Markets Law, but the TOWN shall not be obligated to budget or spend any funds beyond those actually appropriated for the purpose of implementation Article 7.
Animal Control Officers. Animal Control Officers shall be provided uniforms upon hire and then each Fiscal Year as follows:
Animal Control Officers. The weekly hours of work for the Animal Control Officers shall average forty (40)hours over a three (3) week period, working eight and one-half (8 112) hours per day with the Friday of the third (3rd) week as the designated day off for one employee. The eight and one-half (8 hours per day shall be put in between five o'clock A.M. and twelve o'clock midnight. The Employer shall not be obligated to provide overtime work but that when it does schedule such work, the employees will be obligated to accommodate the schedule and be paid at their regular overtime rate.
