Association Representatives Time Off. Association 15 Representatives will be granted mutually agreed upon time off during regularly scheduled working 16 hours to investigate and process grievances, and to represent employees in investigatory interviews 17 or disciplinary meetings as described in Article 16 - Discipline and Discharge, Section 2 upon 18 notice to their immediate supervisor. If the permitted activities would interfere with the work the 19 representative or employee is expected to perform, the immediate supervisor shall, within the next 20 work day, arrange a mutually satisfactory time for the requested activity. 21 22 Section 10. 38 39 Subject to the employee’s work unit operating requirements, Association Representatives 40 shall be granted personal leave, accrued vacation leave, accrued compensatory time or leave of 41 absence without pay at their request to attend the Association’s annual representative training . 42 Such request will be submitted in writing at least ten (10) work days before the training. 43 44 45

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.
