Attention to Duty. Each Sergeant must demonstrate a maturity and acuity in gaining and maintaining appropriate, continually enhanced knowledge of his/her duties, responsibilities and the surrounding environment, as well as an uncompromised focus on assigned tasks and departmental and university policy and procedures. Unauthorized breaks, ignoring of general and/or specified duties, absence from assigned posts or less than fully responsive protocol in carrying out the duties of NJIT Supervisory Police Officers are, by way of illustration disqualifying of meritorious attention to duty.

Attention to Duty. The employee is thorough and conscientious in their work. The employee frequently subordinates his own convenience and comfort to complete an exact faithful performance of his duties.
Attention to Duty. Members of the Lakewood Police Department shall be attentive and alert at all times while on duty and shall devote their entire duty time and energy to the services of the department. 1. Failure to competently perform the duties of their assignment as required, either through carelessness, laziness, or inattention, shall be considered cause for the member to be charged with a violation of this section. 2. Members shall report for duty at the time and place required by department order or supervisor, unless he/she has been approved for leave. 3. Members shall remain alert and awake during their duty hours and if unable to do so shall report to a supervisor who will determine the proper course of action. 4. No member may relieve another member from duty without the permission of, or order by a supervisor.
Attention to Duty. Visit from friends, cell phone use, and other forms or personal communication should be conducted while on a break or after a shift. Once you have been trained, you will be expected to remain on task during your shift and complete your work in a timely and thorough manner with minimal supervision. Friends and/or family should not be at your work area. Language: There will be no swearing or disrespectful language. Harassment: The Library prohibits harassment of any type in the workplace: no bullying, ganging up on another teen; nor disrespectful or mean remarks or conduct.

It is expressly understood and agreed that to the extent any such activities have been conducted by the Executive prior to the Employment Period, the continued conduct of such activities (or the conduct of activities similar in nature and scope thereto) during the Employment Period shall not thereafter be deemed to interfere with the performance of the Executive’s responsibilities to the Company.

  • Loyal and Conscientious Performance Noncompetition 2.1 During his employment by the Company, Executive shall devote his full business energies, interest, abilities and productive time to the proper and efficient performance of his duties under this Agreement. 2.2 During the term of this Agreement, Executive shall not engage in competition with the Company, either directly or indirectly, in any manner or capacity, as adviser, principal, agent, partner, officer, director, employee, member of any association or otherwise, in any phase of the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing of products which are in the same field of use or which otherwise compete with the products or proposed products of the Company. 2.3 Ownership by Executive, as a passive investment, of less than one percent (1%) of the outstanding shares of capital stock of any corporation with one or more classes of its capital stock listed on a national securities exchange or publicly traded in the over-the-counter market shall not constitute a breach of this paragraph.
