AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. Authorized Employee Representatives
AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. SEBA may designate employees as authorized employee representatives or alternates to represent employees subject to the following rules and procedures. It is recognized that SEBA employs professional representatives that have been designated in the place of employee representatives.
(a) SEBA may designate at least one (1) authorized representative from each classification series. SEBA shall be entitled to designate one (1) alternate for each authorized employee representative.
(b) SEBA will designate only employees who have obtained regular status.
(c) SEBA shall file with the Fire Chief and the County Human Resources Director, a written list of all employees designated as authorized employee representatives and alternates, such list is to be kept current by SEBA.
AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. ALL UNITS
AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. BP Products certifies that the names and addresses of all authorized employee representatives of affected employees are: Xxx Xxxxxxxxx, Chairman, United Steelworkers of America, 0000 Xxxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxx 00000-0000. 12. No Other Authorized Employee Representative(s): BP Products further certifies that there are no other unions representing affected employees except those set forth above.
AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVES. CWA may designate two (2) employees as authorized employee representatives or alternates to represent employees in the processing of grievances or during disciplinary proceedings subject to the following rules and procedures:
a) Time spent during regularly scheduled work hours by an authorized employee representative or alternate in representing an employee shall only be compensated by County Fire at such representative’s or alternate’s base rate of pay. No overtime compensation shall be authorized for such purposes.
b) County Fire vehicles and supplies may not be used. County Fire telephones may not be used in implementing the provisions of this Article if such use would unduly interfere with the efficiency, safety, or security of County Fire operations and result in telephone costs to County Fire.

(a) SBPEA may designate at least one (1) authorized employee representative in each geographic location for which the County maintains a work force. SBPEA shall be entitled to designate two (2) alternates for each authorized employee representative, provided that these alternates shall be located at the same major geographic location as their appropriate representative.
(b) If there is no employee representative in this Unit at the work location, representation may be provided by an employee representative from another Unit, provided that rank and file employees are not represented by Supervisory or Management Unit employee representatives or vice versa.
(c) SBPEA will designate only employees who have obtained regular status.
(d) SBPEA shall file with the affected Group Administrator, Department Head, Department Human Resources Officer, and the Employee Relations Division Chief, a written list of all employees designated as authorized employee representatives and alternates, such list to be kept current by SBPEA.
(e) Time spent during regularly scheduled work hours by an authorized employee representative or alternate in representing an employee shall only be compensated by the County at such representative’s or alternate’s base rate of pay.

If a Teamsters Business Agent is unavailable, Teamsters may designate employees as authorized employee representatives or alternates to represent employees in investigation interviews, in the processing of grievances, during disciplinary proceedings or as otherwise permitted by law, subject to the following rules and procedures:
(a) Teamsters may designate at least one (1) authorized employee representative in each location for which County Fire maintains a work force. Teamsters shall be entitled to designate two (2) alternates for each authorized employee representative, provided that these alternates shall be located at the same major location as their appropriate representative.
(b) If there is no employee representative in this Unit at the work location, representation may be provided by an employee representative from another Unit, provided that rank and file employees are not represented by Supervisory Unit employee representatives or vice versa.
(c) Teamsters will designate only employees who have obtained regular status.

(g) The parties shall arrange and be available for meetings, investigatory interviews, etc., within a reasonable period of time, taking into account such things as the nature of the offense and/or the circumstances (e.g., employee on ERL, employee seeking return to work, etc.).
(h) Xxxxx to conducting an investigative interview, County Fire must inform the employee of the type of impropriety and allow the employee and the representative an opportunity to confer privately about the subject of the impending interview.
