Backhauls. (a) Drivers shall receive, in addition to the mileage rates, the following cents per mile in the movement of backhaul loads: Effective Per Mile 6-01-03 3.5¢ with no change for the term of this contract (b) To determine backhaul mileage, take one-half (1/2) of the total round trip miles, subtract all empty miles. The balance is to be paid as backhaul mileage. (c) The Employer agrees to meet periodically, at the request of the Local Union, to review backhaul activity between terminals to insure an equitable distribution of backhauls.

Backhauls. Section 3. The Company agrees that determination of equitabilityequatability shall be by mileage and shall make up any deficit as soon as possible after the monthly report is sent out, and not to exceed any ninety (90) day period.

When two (2) or more drivers from the same terminal are physically at the same backhaul terminal, at the same time, then terminal seniority will apply to those drivers for that dispatch. f. Drivers shall be dispatched with return trips under (a) above, whether or not drivers are on layoff. g. The Company shall utilize the above provisions by equitably treating each terminal and the Local Union involved. h. It is not the intent of this Article to dry up any particular terminal by utilizing foreign domiciled drivers. Section 2. The Company shall, every one (1) month, make available to each Local Union involved a complete review, in writing, of the loads and mileage that have been allocated to other terminal drivers. in order to determine whether or not the Company is complying with the intent of this Article.
Backhauls. Backhaul trips include transporting a crew that has to return to the van home location or another destination along the route back to the home terminal. Drivers can be held for a period of up to three (3) hours at a location for a backhaul, at the company’s discretion. Drivers will be paid their hourly rate for any wait time as a result of waiting for commencement of the backhaul. Drivers can be asked to return to the drop off location to commence the backhaul should they have already departed the drop off location. They shall be paid the applicable hourly rate for all time spent returning to the pick up location and all time waiting for the commencement of the backhaul. Drivers may not refuse a backhaul unless it results in a violation of the drivers hours of service.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at a P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

  • Interconnection Customer Provided Services The services provided by Interconnection Customer under this LGIA are set forth in Article 9.6 and Article 13.5. 1. Interconnection Customer shall be paid for such services in accordance with Article 11.6.

  • Technical Services Party B will provide technical services and training to Party A, taking advantage of Party B’s advanced network, website and multimedia technologies to improve Party A’s system integration. Such technical services shall include: (a) administering, managing and maintaining Party A’s information application system and website system infrastructure; (b) providing system optimization plans and implementing optimization features; (c) assuring the security and reliability of the website application systems; (d) procuring, installing and supporting the relevant products produced by Party B, and providing training in the use of those products; (e) managing and maintaining all network and providing technologies to assure the reliability and efficiency thereof; (f) providing information technology services and assuring the reliable operation of the information infrastructure.

  • ELECTRICAL SERVICES The Company must construct and reticulate electrical requirements for all amenities and facilities. The Company must construct sub-station and distribution boards necessary to reticulate power to all Company owned or leased facilities which provide amenities to the public. The electrical installation must be to the design and installation standards of the State Energy Commission of Western Australia. All electrical reticulation must be placed underground.

  • Interconnection Service Interconnection Service allows the Interconnection Customer to connect the Large Generating Facility to the Participating TO’s Transmission System and be eligible to deliver the Large Generating Facility’s output using the available capacity of the CAISO Controlled Grid. To the extent the Interconnection Customer wants to receive Interconnection Service, the Participating TO shall construct facilities identified in Appendices A and C that the Participating TO is responsible to construct.

  • Online Services Microsoft warrants that each Online Service will perform in accordance with the applicable SLA during Customer’s use. Customer’s remedies for breach of this warranty are described in the SLA.
