Working with WP5, CompBioMed: o Had its news and twitter feeds appear on the FocusCoE xxxxxx.xx website o Had its services listed on the FocusCoE xxxxxx.xx website o Collaborated with FocusCoE, BioExcel and PerMedCoE during a thematic session on "Industrial Challenges and Innovation Opportunities of CoEs in Medical/Bio/Pharma" at the HiPEAC conference on 4 May 2021 o Co-organised a workshop with FocusCoE, EXCELLERAT, EoCoE, ChEESE, XxXXXXX, BioExcel, at the HiPEAC conference 2021 on "The HPC XxX services and applications" on 20 January 2021 o Featured in the FocusCoE News Flash (an email sent to the XxX mailing list) CompBioMed has long been collaborating with POP XxX to bring HemeLB to the exascale. Our work with them is described in previous dissemination deliverables. Activity in the current period includes: • CompBioMed worked with POP on the presentation "Readying HemeLB and SCEMa Codes for Exascale with POP and E-CAM Centres of Excellence" at PASC21, on 7 July 2021 • POP, FocusCoE, and CompBioMed held a booth at BioFIT 2019 in Marseille on 10-11 December 2019 • At Supercomputing 2020, XXX carried out the following activities relating to CompBioMed: o The POP XxX ran a half day tutorial on "Practical Hybrid Parallel Application Performance Engineering" involving HemeLB in collaboration with CompBioMed, including a case study demonstrating measurements of HemeLB on SuperMUC-NG and JUWELS/V100. o The corresponding POP assessment report was also accepted by the ProTools workshop and was presented. o Xxxxx Xxxxx from the POP XxX published his presentation on "Exascale Potholes for HPC: Execution Performance an...

  • Best Practices The Recipient acknowledges they may or may not have access to the Owner’s Confidential Information and agrees that it shall not directly or indirectly divulge, disclose, or communicate any of the Confidential Information to any third party, except as may be required during any formal business association or dealings on behalf of the Owner for any event, with the prior written approval of the Owner. The Recipient acknowledges that no license of the Confidential Information, by implication or otherwise, is granted to the Recipient by reason of this Agreement. Additionally, the Recipient acknowledges that it may only use the Confidential Information in connection with its business dealings with the Owner and for no other purpose without the prior written consent of the Owner.

  • Policies and Practices The employment relationship between the Parties shall be governed by this Agreement and the policies and practices established by the Company and the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). In the event that the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with the Company’s policies or practices or the Company’s Employee Handbook, this Agreement shall control.

  • Best Practice NB strives to ensure that inter-country adoptions are in children's best interests and seeks to prevent the sale, exploitation, abduction, or trafficking of children. Payment for a child or an inducement to release a child for adoption is strictly forbidden. NB does not compensate any individual providing adoption services with an incentive fee or fee contingent on each child located for adoption. NB's employees, coordinators, and prospective adoptive parents are prohibited from giving money, gifts, bribes, or other consideration directly or indirectly to any person or entity, including any biological relative or caregiver of a child, as payment for a child or as an inducement to release a child for purposes of adoption.

  • SAFETY PRACTICES (a) i Employees requiring glasses must wear glasses, preferably with safety lenses instead of contact lenses while on the job site. ii W.C.B. approved safety footwear must be worn at all times while on the job site. iii Employee attire will be in conformance with W.C.B. Regulation and the Employer’s policy.

  • STANDARD PRACTICES 47.1 Standard Practices may incorporate by reference various industry, OBF, and other standards referred to throughout this Agreement, which may be implemented to satisfy any CenturyLink obligations under this Agreement. 47.2 If CLEC desires notice of changes made to CenturyLink’s Standard Practices, CLEC may make such a request during the Agreement implementation process or at any subsequent time during the term of this Agreement.

  • Data Practices The Parties acknowledge that this Agreement is subject to the requirements of Minnesota’s Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes, Section 13.01

  • Company Policies and Procedures 7.1.1 The Company will ensure that Employees are able to readily access Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees. 7.1.2 The Employees will observe and act in accordance with Company policies and procedures that apply to the Employees, as implemented and amended from time to time.

  • Notice of Privacy Practices Business Associate shall abide by the limitations of Covered Entity’s Notice of which it has knowledge. Any use or disclosure permitted by this Agreement may be amended by changes to Covered Entity’s Notice; provided, however, that the amended Notice shall not affect permitted uses and disclosures on which Business Associate relied prior to receiving notice of such amended Notice.

  • Policies and Procedures i) The policies and procedures of the designated employer apply to the employee while working at both sites. ii) Only the designated employer shall have exclusive authority over the employee in regard to discipline, reporting to the College of Nurses of Ontario and/or investigations of family/resident complaints. iii) The designated employer will ensure that the employee is covered by WSIB at all times, regardless of worksite, while in the employ of either home. iv) The designated employer will ensure that the employee is covered by liability insurance at all times, regardless of worksite, while in the employ of either home. v) The designated employer shall have exclusive authority over the employee’s personnel files and health records. These files will be maintained on the site of the designated employer.

  • Settlement Practices The Custodian shall provide to each Board the information with respect to custody and settlement practices in countries in which the Custodian employs an Eligible Foreign Custodian described on Schedule C at the time or times set forth on the Schedule. The Custodian may revise Schedule C from time to time, but no revision shall result in a Board being provided with substantively less information than had been previously provided on Schedule C.
