Bilingual Pay Premium. A. When the County designates a position within the bargaining unit, which requires bilingual skills on the average of at least ten percent (10%) of the employee’s work time, such an employee in the designated position shall first demonstrate a language proficiency of job-related terminology acceptable to the Department Head and the Human Resources Director. Thereafter, the employee shall be entitled to the payment of Thirty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($32.50) per pay period. Use of bilingual skills shall include time spent translating, answering phone calls, doing research, and speaking with or writing to clients in a language other than English. B. When the County designates a position within the bargaining unit, which requires bilingual skills on the average, less than ten percent (10%) of the employee’s work time, such an employee in the designated position shall first demonstrate a language proficiency of job-related terminology acceptable to the Human Resources Director. Bilingual Pay Premium. Each fiscal year, the Superintendent, or designee, shall designate District positions that are eligible for the bilingual pay premium. Positions which require translating or interpreting to or from a foreign language including sign language for the hearing impaired and Braille for the visually impaired shall be designated eligible for the bilingual pay premium. Employee meeting the premium criteria skills shall receive a $50 premium per pay period.

  • Bilingual Pay Where the Employer currently pays bilingual pay or bonuses, it shall continue to do so. The Employer retains discretion to initiate bilingual pay or bonuses. The minimum bilingual bonus or hourly equivalent is $25 per pay period. The Employer may not require an employee to use bilingual skills without paying the appropriate bonus or pay. This does not apply to employees where such skills are in the classification specification.

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday: A. A Full-Time or Part-Time Nurse who is regularly scheduled to work on a recognized Holiday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times (1.5 x) the Nurse’s regular rate of pay; or B. A Nurse who works overtime (as defined in Article 7.07) on a recognized Holiday shall be paid at the rate of two times (2 x) the Nurse’s regular rate of pay for the overtime worked.

  • Premium Pay “Premium Pay” is a special pay rate for working during times that are less desirable, such as weekends, holidays or late shifts. The City will not pay the Consultant Premium Pay.

  • Sunday Premium Any employee who is required to work at any time on a Sunday shall be paid a Sunday premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of seventy-five (75¢) cents per hour, for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Sunday premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime. The provisions of this Article shall not apply to the “in charge” employees referred to in sub-articles 23.03 and 23.04 of this Agreement.

  • Pay Rate Sick leave pay shall be at the shift straight-time hourly rate.

  • Final Pay On the Termination Date, the Company will pay You $__________, less all applicable withholdings. This amount represents all of Your salary earned through the Termination Date and all of Your accrued but unused vacation time or PTO. You acknowledge that, prior to the execution of this Agreement, and other than as set forth in Attachment A to Your Offer Letter, You are not entitled to receive any additional money from the Company, and that the only payments that You are entitled to receive from the Company in the future are those specified in this Agreement and Attachment A.
