Payment at Separation. Any employee who is discharged or who separates from employment shall receive payment for up to 240 hours of accrued vacation credit or vacation pay with their final paycheck.
Payment at Separation. All regular employees shall be entitled to payment for unused PTO leave upon separation from City service. In the event of a death, the employee’s heirs will be entitled to payment for unused PTO leave.
Payment at Separation. An employee who resigns, quits, is laid off, or retires, is entitled to only the pro-rata share of vacation time earned in the calendar year when the separation from service occurs. Any money received for vacation time used but unearned at separation time shall be withheld from the employee's final pay.
Payment at Separation. Upon separation, the member will be paid for the holidays that occurred during the calendar year prior to separation. Payment will be made with member's last payroll payment.
Payment at Separation. Within 90 days of a unit member's separation from the District, the District agrees to pay the unit member the full value of the excess vacation days identified in Paragraph 1, above. The value of each excess vacation day shall be based on the unit member's hourly rate during the 2019-2020 school year. It is the District's intent to make payment tothe unit member as soon as practicable following the unit member's separation. Payment at Separation. An employee is entitled to compensation, at his current rate of pay, for the prorated portion of any earned but unused vacation leave for the current year to his credit at time of separation or layoff, and in addition, shall be compensated for any unused vacation leave accrued to his credit, to the maximums set forth in this A rticle.

A member in full-time status who is to be separated from the City employment through removal, resignation, retirement, or layoff and who has unused vacation leave to his credit, shall be paid in a lump sum for such unused vacation leave in lieu of granting such member a vacation leave after his last day of active service with the City. However, in the case where a member is removed by the City, no compensation will be given for a period of time in which the member's conduct is proven to have caused the removal.
Payment at Separation. Upon separation from the department commissioned employees shall be paid for the balance of their accrued vacation.
