CANCELLING YOUR POLICY. You have the right to cancel Your Policy at any time. Please see the below table for Your refund rights. Where You wish to cancel Your Policy please contact the Policy Retailer. Time period Refund Rights Cancellation before Policy commencement date If You cancel before the Policy commencement date, you will be entitled to a full refund of premium paid and no administration fee will be charged. Cancellation within thirty (30) days of the start date on the Certificate of Insurance or receipt of the Policy terms (whichever is later) If You cancel within thirty (30) days and have not made a successful claim on Your Policy, You will be entitled to a full refund of premium paid. Cancellation after thirty (30) days from the start date on the Certificate of Insurance or receipt of the Policy terms (whichever is later) If You cancel after thirty (30) days and have not made a successful claim on Your Policy, You will be entitled to a pro rata refund, based on the number of fully unexpired months remaining on Your Policy minus a fixed amount of £35 to cover Our costs incurred in relation to Your cancelled Policy. A pro rata refund example is as follows: - • 36-month Policy term. • £360 total premium paid for Policy. • Cancellation in month 18 leaves 18 full months remaining. • Pro rata refund of £180 less £35 administration fee. • Amount of refund due to You is £145.

CANCELLING YOUR POLICY. How You may cancel this Policy • You may cancel this Policy at any time by telling Us in writing that You want to cancel it. You can do this by giving the notice to Us or Your Financial Services Provider. • Where ‘You’ involves more than one person, We will only cancel the Policy when a written agreement to cancel the Policy is received from all persons named as the Insured. How We may cancel this Policy • We may cancel this Policy in any of the circumstances permitted by law by informing You in writing in accordance with the Insurance Contracts Act 1984 (Cth). • We will give You this notice in person or send it to Your address last known to Us. The Premium Where the Policy is cancelled We will refund to You the proportion of the Premium for the remaining Period of insurance. If We have paid a claim for total loss no refund Premium will be given. Cooling-off information If You want to return Your insurance after Your decision to buy it, You may cancel it and receive a full refund. To do this You may notify Us or Your Financial Services Provider electronically or in writing within 21 days from the date the Policy commenced. This cooling-off right does not apply if You have made or are entitled to make a claim. Even after the cooling-off period ends, You still have cancellation rights however Your Financial Services Provider may deduct certain amounts from any refund for administration costs or any non-refundable taxes. Other party’s interests You must tell Us of the interests of all parties (e.g. financiers, owners, lessors) who will be covered under this Policy. CANCELLING YOUR POLICY. The cover is provided to you free of charge by the Policyholder (TAP). Only the Policyholder (TAP) has rights to cancel the group insurance contract. If We (Insurer) want to cancel Your Policy: We can cancel this Policy by giving You 30 days written notice. We will only do this for a valid reason. Examples of valid cancellation reasons include attempted or actual fraud, or where We are ordered or instructed to cancel this Policy by a regulator, court, or other law enforcement agency. If We cancel the Policy We will refund any premium paid by the Policyholder for the cancelled period provided You (Insured) have not made a Claim under the Policy during the current Period of Insurance.

LOOKING AFTER YOUR MONEY In the vast majority of cases we act as the agent of the insurer when collecting or refunding premiums. This means when you have paid us you have effectively paid the insurer. In a few cases pending passing your premium to the insurance provider or refunding premiums to you we keep your premium in a Statutory Trust Account. The aim of the trust is to protect you in the event of the failure of the firm, or the failure of the bank. In such a circumstance, the firm’s general creditors should not be able to make claims on your money as it will not form part of our property. No interest is payable on premiums held.
