CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. The Career Incentive Program attached to this document as Appendix B shall be continued in full force and effect during the terms of this Agreement, and all employees of the bargaining unit shall be eligible to participate in said program and shall be granted, in the next appropriate pay periods, the appropriate incremental increase in career incentive pay upon application and approval of meeting the qualifications of the intermediate or advanced level.
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. The Career Incentive Program attached to this document as Appendix B shall be continued in full force and effect during the term of this Agreement, and all employees of these bargaining units shall be eligible to participate in said program and shall be granted, in the next appropriate pay periods, the appropriate incremental increase and career incentive pay upon receipt of the intermediate or advanced POST certificate. Sheriff's Lieutenants qualifying for Advanced Certificates, shall receive Career Incentive Program pay without further maintenance requirements, provided that they shall take such training as required and directed by the Department as part of their duties as salaried employees.
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. A. The District and the Association agree to establish a committee for the purpose of reviewing, revising, and making recommendations to the bargaining team concerning the Association's proposed Career Incentive Program.
B. The committee will be composed of three (3) members appointed by the Association's Executive Board and three (3) members appointed by the Superintendent and shall meet by November 1, 2017. (September 2017)
C. Recommendations from the committee will be forthcoming.
D. The work of the committee shall be advisory only and the District will provide reasonable release time for Association appointees to the committee in order to meet and discuss this proposal.
E. The proposal will be submitted to the bargaining team for further negotiations.
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. Section 16.1
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. Unit members may qualify for and receive additional compensation based on and subject to the following requirements and procedures:
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. 1. Unit members shall be eligible for additional compensation of $100 per month upon successful completion of probation as a Hollister Firefighter and upon successful completion of ten (10) semester units or 200 hours in Fire Science Curriculum or some equivalent job-related program in an approved class, lecture, seminar, etc. Units or instruction in the Hazardous Materials Program and/or the Emergency Medical Technician Program, shall not be qualifying under this program.
2. Upon attainment of the $100 per month Career Incentive Program Premium, a unit member shall be required to successfully complete three (3) units in the fire science curriculum or sixty (60) hours of instruction in an approved class, lecture, seminar, etc. within every 24 month period following the date they initially qualified for the additional $100 per month compensation in order to continue to receive the additional $100 per month.
CAREER INCENTIVE PROGRAM. Effective May 4, 2020, employees in the classification of Supervising Public Defender Investigator (V96) who meet the Public Defender Investigation Career Incentive Program requirements shall be paid a biweekly rate as follows: Basic: 2.5% of base salary; Intermediate: 5% of base salary; Advanced: 7.5% of base salary.
