Consolidation of Grievances If the grievance involves a group of employees or if a number of employees file separate grievances on the same matter, the grievances shall, whenever possible, be handled as a single grievance.
Scope of Grievances A. A grievance may be filed if a management interpretation or application of the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding adversely affects an employee's wages, hours or conditions of employment.

Submission of Grievances A. Any employee or group of employees shall have the right to present a grievance. No employee or group of employees shall be hindered from or disciplined for exercising this right.

May Omit Grievance Steps An employee considered by the Union to be wrongfully or unjustly discharged or suspended shall be entitled to a hearing under Article 6, Grievance Procedure and Step 1 of the Grievance Procedure shall be omitted in such cases.
