Group or Policy Grievance. (a) Group Grievance: A group grievance shall be a grievance defined as an alleged violation of the collective agreement that affects more than one (1) employee.

Group or Policy Grievance. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or where the Union/Employer or group of employees are affected, the Union Grievance Committee/Superintendent of Business shall commence the grievance at Step 2. The timelines for a group or policy grievance shall be ten (10) working days from the time the Union/Employer or group of employees became aware of the circumstances giving rise to the grievance, or after the date when the event could reasonably have been detected.
