Group or Policy Grievance. (a) Group Grievance: A group grievance shall be a grievance defined as an alleged violation of the collective agreement that affects more than one (1) employee.
Group or Policy Grievance. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or where the Union/Employer or group of employees are affected, the Union Grievance Committee/Superintendent of Business shall commence the grievance at Step 2. The timelines for a group or policy grievance shall be ten (10) working days from the time the Union/Employer or group of employees became aware of the circumstances giving rise to the grievance, or after the date when the event could reasonably have been detected.
Group or Policy Grievance. Within ten (10) days of the event upon which the grievance is based, the Home or the Union may submit a grievance in writing to the other, alleging the violation of a term of this Agreement. Such a grievance shall set out the facts and the section or sections of the Agreement claimed to be violated or relied upon, and the matter shall be dealt with in accordance with Article 6.01, Step No. 2, and the balance of the grievance procedure. No grievance shall be submitted by the Union under this Article 6.04, unless it involves more than one
(1) employee, or unless it is a matter regarding which the Home has established a written policy.
Group or Policy Grievance. The Union may institute a grievance consisting of an allegation of a general violation, or a violation affecting a group of employees. Such group or policy grievance shall be submitted at Step 2 of the grievance procedure. Group or policy grievances may not be used to institute a grievance directly affecting a single employee, which such employee could initiate a grievance.
Group or Policy Grievance. Where a grievance involves a question of general application or interpretation, or where a grievance involves a group of employees, either Party shall retain the right to present the grievance to the Secretary Treasurer or designate or President of the Union at Step 2. ARTICLE 13 ARBITRATION PROCEDURE
13.01 Section 84 (3)(b) - Labour Relations Code
Group or Policy Grievance. Within ten (10) days of the event upon which the grievance is based, the Club or the Union may submit a grievance in writing to the other, alleging the violation of a term of this Agreement. Such grievance shall set out the facts and the section or sections of the Agreement relied upon or claimed to have been violated, and the matter shall be dealt with in accordance with Article 6.01, Step 2, and the balance of the grievance procedure. No grievance shall be submitted by the Union under this Article 6.04 unless it involves more than one employee or unless it is a matter with respect to which the Club has established a written policy.
Group or Policy Grievance. Step One: When a group or policy issue arises the appropriate Union Representative will meet with the appropriate Management Representative to discuss the issue. Every effort will be made to resolve the issue within two (2) days. If the issue is still outstanding the Union or Foundation, as appropriate, will proceed to Step Two. Step Two: When either party wishes to file a grievance they must do so, in writing within seven (7) days from the time the circumstances upon which the issue is based were known or ought to be reasonably known and after compliance with Step One. The Union Representative and the Management Representative shall discuss the issue within five (5) days and the Management Representative or Union Representative, as appropriate, shall provide their decision, in writing, within two (2) days following the discussion.
Group or Policy Grievance. Where a dispute involving a question of general application or interpretation occurs, or where a group of two (2) or more employees or the Union has a grievance, Step 1 of this Article may be bypassed and such grievance submitted at Step 2 within fourteen (14) days of the event upon which it is based. In the case of Group Grievances, the Union may have a maximum of two (2) grievors attend at any meeting(s) or hearing(s) that are held in conjunction with such grievances.
Group or Policy Grievance. A group or policy grievance or dispute shall be presented, in writing, by the Union, at the lowest step at which a settlement may be obtained.
Group or Policy Grievance. The Union may file a group or policy grievance pertaining to the interpretation, administration or application of this agreement and will be initiated at Step 2. It is recognized that all responses will be directed to the Sector Vice President or delegate.
