Certification Renewal. Employees shall be granted time off, without loss of pay, to complete the mandatory requirement for certification renewal that are necessary for continued District employment in his/her classification. At this time, the following bargaining classifications are impacted by this provision: 7218, 1930, 2615, 2630, 2634, 2672, and 2674.

Certification Renewal. At the completion of the certification period, the faculty member will submit a report outlining how they have met the outcomes defined on their plan. The report will be approved by the xxxx/direct supervisor. Final approval of the report is by the vocational director (Vice President of Instruction). The faculty member has the right to appeal the denial that they have met the outcomes defined in their plan according to the procedure outlined in the Professional Development Appeals Process.

Certification Renewal. Following Year 1, the annual fee to renew DYL Coach Certification and retain access to the DYL Coaches Community and benefits is $800.00. The Certification Renewal payment is due 11 months after completing the Coaches Certification Workshop. If the Certification Renewal payment is not received before the end of Year 1 (12 months from completion of the Coaches Certification Workshop), Certification will terminate. If terminated only for non-payment of Certification Renewal, COACH will have 30 days to pay the Renewal fee and be reinstated at no extra charge, and from 31-90 days may be reinstated by paying the Renewal fee plus a 25% late charge. Beyond 90 days, COACH must reinitiate a new certification process and Year 1 fees. At the time of Renewal, LLC may at its sole discretion update the terms of this Agreement in which case COACH may either accept the updated terms and renew or decline renewal.
Certification Renewal. Employees that have completed their probationary period shall be compensated at their regular hourly rate for actual hours to attend training for certification renewal required by Federal, State or County licensing authorities. Employees required to attend training due to discipline or medication errors shall not be compensated.
