Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 25.1 During the term of this MOU, the County and Unions shall investigate the feasibility of offering medical and/or dental plan(s) in addition to those now being offered.
25.2 The County agrees to continue all benefits programs at current benefits levels as listed in the MOU and the Benefits Summary.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 24.1 During the term of the MOU, the County and Union shall investigate the feasibility of offering additional and/or alternate medical and/or dental plan(s).
24.2 The Union agrees to participate in good faith discussions concerning the County's Health Plans. Both parties agree that revisions in Health Plans or in the contribution ratio between the County and the employee may be necessary to retain an equitable relationship between the gross premium and the County/employee contribution to the premium.
24.3 Health plan changes that are initiated by the health plan based on either legislative/regulatory changes or health plan organization policy changes are provided to employers each year. These changes are typically not significant in terms of the numbers of individuals who are impacted by the change. For instance, they do not often include co-pay changes for outpatient or inpatient physician or facility services, prescription drug co-pays or major plan design co-pays. Where health plans initiate these kinds of changes to the contract, Employee Benefits will share with labor the specific changes health plans are communicating at the time of renewal, before implementing the change. Where the changes may be eliminated by the employer purchasing, at additional cost, a rider to cover the benefit, it is the County’s desire to implement such changes without riders to keep its design in conformance with the health plans’ book of business design, provide however, it will first meet and confer with the Union on any such matter.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 29.1 During the term of this MOU, the County and the Association shall investigate the feasibility of offering medical plan(s) in addition to those now being offered.
29.2 If during the term of this MOU the County desires making any changes in the current medical and dental plans, the County shall meet with CNA to discuss any changes.

23.2 Agreements reached with AFSCME or SEIU on Health Plan design changes will be applied to the BCTC bargaining unit. This does not apply to changes in premium cost sharing between the County and employees. The intent of this language is to establish a “me-too” agreement regarding Health Plan design changes. The Benefits Committee will convene in June of each year and conclude by September 1 of each year. Additional sessions may be convened by management for specific issues that may arise. For the term of the 2015-2019 MOU, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, unless the Building Trades Health Insurance plan becomes unavailable to County employees represented by BCTC, or unless the Building Trades Health Insurance Plan is determined to be a Cadillac plan under the Affordable Care Act subject to the ACA Excise Tax, employees in the bargaining unit shall continue to have the option to select the Building Trades Health Insurance Plan offered by Operating Engineers Local 3 to members, regardless of decisions made by the Benefits Committee.

The Authority intends to evaluate the medical and dental plans currently available to employees to determine if similar or better coverage may be available at lower cost to the Authority. The Authority may substitute new insurance carriers or arrange for self-insurance provided that the overall coverage is equal to or superior to the present coverage and is acceptable to the Association.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 20.1 The San Mateo County Union of American Physicians and Dentists agrees that it will participate in good faith discussions concerning the County’s Health Plans. Both parties agree that revisions in Health Plans or in the contribution ratio between the County and the employee may be necessary to retain an equitable relationship between the gross premium and the County/employee contribution to that premium. The County agrees to provide information to support and inform such discussions.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. The Agency may evaluate the Health and Welfare plans available to employees to determine if similar or better coverages are available at lower cost to the Agency. The Agency may substitute new insurance carriers or arrange for self‐insurance provided that the overall coverage is unchanged or improved and further provided that the Agency meets with the Union to discuss any new plan before it is implemented.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 19.1 During the term of this MOU, the County and PDA shall investigate the feasibility of offering medical plan(s) alternate or in addition to those now being offered.
19.2 Agreements reached as part of the Health Care Cost Containment Committee may be implemented outside of negotiations if employee organizations representing a majority of employees agree, providing, however, all employee organizations are given an opportunity to meet and confer regarding such agreements.
Change in Employee Benefit Plans. 27.1 The Court agrees to continue all benefits programs at current benefits levels as listed in the MOU and set forth in the related plan documents. If and when the Court determines a need or desire to change health benefits for employees, the Court will meet and confer with the Union regarding same.
