Change in Salary Category. B.28.1 Any teacher who intends to apply for a change in salary category must notify the Secretary-Treasurer in writing by September 15th in which case the change in salary category becomes effective for payroll purposes on September 1st in that school year. Any teacher who intends to apply for a change in salary category must notify the Secretary-Treasurer in writing by January 15th in which case the change in salary category becomes effective for payroll purposes on January 1st in that school year. B.28.2 In the case of teachers improving salary category, satisfactory evidence shall be provided by the teacher to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board on or before the 30th day of November in that year in order to become effective as of September 1st in that school year, or before April 30th in that year in order to become effective as of January 1st in that school year. If no documentation or other satisfactory evidence is produced to the Board by the said November 30th or April 30th the teacher will be paid on the basis of his or her salary category held previously.

Change in Salary Category. 8.2.1 In order to be placed in a higher salary category, the Teacher shall submit to the Human Resource Services Department the required Certification Rating Statement from the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation. a) If the work for the higher qualification was completed between January 01 and August 31 (both dates inclusive) then the salary increase will become effective on September 01 of the same year in which the work was completed provided documentation specified in Article 8.2.1 is received on or before June 30 of the following year. b) If the work for the higher qualification was completed between September 01 and December 31 (both dates inclusive) then the salary increase will become effective on January 01 of the year following the one in which the work was completed provided documentation specified in Article 8.2.1 is received on or before June 30. c) Notwithstanding the foregoing, if through no fault of the Teacher confirming documents are delayed beyond the required date, the appropriate adjustment will be made retroactive to the applicable date.

  • Target Bonus “Target Bonus” shall mean Employee’s annual bonus, assuming 100% “on target” satisfaction of any objective or subjective performance milestones.

  • Change in Scope For substantial modifications in authorized Project scope, and/or substantial modifications of drawings and/or specifications previously accepted by City, when requested by City and through no fault of Consulting Engineer/Architect, the Consulting Engineer/Architect shall be compensated for time and expense required to incorporate such modifications at Consulting Engineer/Architect's standard hourly rates per Exhibit B; provided, however, that any increase in contract price or contract time must be approved through a written change order. Consulting Engineer/Architect shall correct or revise any errors or deficiencies in its designs, drawings or specifications without additional compensation when due to Consulting Engineer/Architect's negligence or other actionable fault.

  • Employee Categories All employees fall into one or the other of four principal categories as outlined below.

  • Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.

  • Salary Compensation As salary compensation for Employee's services hereunder and all the rights granted hereunder by Employee to the Company, the Company shall pay Employee a gross salary of not less than $175,000 during the term of this Agreement. Employee's salary shall be payable in bi-weekly increments in accordance with the Company's payroll practices for salaried employees, upon the condition that Employee fully and faithfully performs Employee's services hereunder in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Company shall deduct and withhold from the compensation payable to Employee hereunder any and all amounts required to be deducted or withheld by the Company under the provisions of any statute, regulation, ordinance, or order and any and all amendments hereinafter enacted requiring the withholding or deducting from compensation payable to employees.

  • SALARY DETERMINATION FOR EMPLOYEES IN ADULT EDUCATION 1. The following shall apply to employees providing instruction in adult education programs in these districts: Continuing Education employees in the Adult Education High School Completion Program (credit courses) and Adult Education Academic Upgrading Programs (Adult Basic Education, General Education Development, Pre-General Education Development, Literacy and Adult Education English Language Programs). Employees teaching Adult Education academic programs including: High School Completion Program, Pathfinder High School Completion Program, Academic Business Education Program, General Equivalency Diploma Program, Adult Basic Education Program, Adult English as a Second Language Program, and Adult Special Education Program, in the Continuing Education Division.

  • Employment Categories (a) Employees under this Agreement will be employed in one of the following categories: (i) full-time; (ii) part time; or (iii) casual. (b) At the time of engagement an employer will inform each employee whether they are employed on a full-time, part time or casual basis. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties that are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, consistent with the respective classification.

  • Change in Scope of Work Any change in the scope of the Work, method of performance, nature of materials or price thereof, or any other matter materially affecting the performance or nature of the Work shall not be paid for or accepted unless such change, addition, or deletion is approved in advance and in writing by a valid change order executed by the District. Contractor specifically understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the District shall have the right to request any alterations, deviations, reductions, or additions to the Project or Work, and the cost thereof shall be added to or deducted from the amount of the Contract Price by fair and reasonable valuations. Contractor also agrees to provide the District with all information requested to substantiate the cost of the change order and to inform the District whether the Work will be done by the Contractor or a subcontractor. In addition to any other information requested, Contractor shall submit, prior to approval of the change order, its request for a time extension (if any), as well as all information necessary to substantiate its belief that such change will delay the completion of the Work. If Contractor fails to submit its request for a time extension or the necessary supporting information, it shall be deemed to have waived its right to request such extension.

  • Annual Cash Bonus During the Term, Executive may be eligible to receive an annual cash bonus, on terms and conditions as determined by the Committee in its sole discretion taking into account Company and individual performance objectives.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.
