Salary Category. 1. The salary category of teachers will be as verified as the most recent evaluation of the Teachers’ Qualification Service. Verification is the responsibility of the teacher and must be provided by November 30th or within three months of the start of employment, (whichever is earlier). This deadline also applies to changes in salary category resulting from increased qualifications. The deadline shall be extended if the teacher can show that there is a delay in processing the necessary documentation.

Placement of each teacher upon the salary scale shall be in accordance with such qualifications and experience as hereinafter provided. 3. Teachers holding qualifications for the EB Category will be placed in Category 4.

  • EMPLOYEE CATEGORIES All employees fall into one or the other of four principal categories as outlined below.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • Salary Scales 1. In the settlement of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2000-2002 the parties committed themselves to the implementation of pay parity for kindergarten teachers. Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.

  • Employment Categories (a) Employees under this Agreement will be employed in one of the following categories:

  • Current Salary Level An employee who accepts another position with his or her current salary range will retain his or her current salary.

  • Salary Grid September 1, 2005 – add 2% to the new base grid.   • Salary Grids Classifications and salary rates are attached as Schedule "A" and forms part of this Collective Agreement. The years referred to in the salary schedules shall mean years of continuous service with the Employer in the designated classification, plus the applicable allowances under 23.04. Years of service on the new grid may not relate to the employee’s service level as a result of April 1, 2007 harmonization of the grids and blending the bargaining units.

  • Salary Range At the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, the salaries of returning full time teachers were between $45,000-$95,100 prior to any increases negotiated in this agreement. After ratification, full-time teachers will be making $45,500-$97,725.73 for the 2023-2024 school year.

  • Budget Categories Use the first column only (Column 1) to report the budget category breakouts (Lines 6a through 6h) and indirect charges (Line 6j) for the total funding requested for the first year of your project only.

  • Lower Salary Level An employee who accepts another position with a lower salary range will be paid an amount equal to his or her current salary, provided it is within the salary range of the new position. In those cases where the employee’s current salary exceeds the maximum amount of the salary range for the new position, the employee will be compensated at the maximum salary of the new salary range.
