Classroom/Worksite Observation. 17.7.2.1 By the end of the eleventh week of the semester in which evaluation is to occur, each member of the Tenure Review Committee shall participate in one (1) classroom/worksite observation. The classes/worksite situations to be observed shall be determined by the Tenure Review Committee. These observations may be conducted either jointly or individually by members of the Tenure Review Committee, at the discretion of the Committee; however, it is the intent of the parties that a number of different classes/work situations be observed. Normally, the days and times of the classes/worksite situations to be observed will be established at the initial conference as provided in section 17.7.1.1; however, observation dates and times may be changed as needed to facilitate the evaluation process, provided the probationary Unit Member is given at least five (5) working days prior notice.
Classroom/Worksite Observation. 18.5.3.1 The Immediate Management Supervisor shall conduct one (1) classroom/worksite observation, at a time determined by the Unit Member.
Classroom/Worksite Observation. 12 The appropriate administrator and each faculty committee member of the Tenure Review 13 Committee shall make at least one class or worksite observation in accordance with 5.4.2.3 14 each semester and complete the appropriate observation form (see Appendix B-1). Every 15 attempt will be made for the evaluators to observe different class sections or courses and to 16 spread observations over at least four weeks of the semester. Classroom/Worksite Observation. 17.4.7.1 The class or worksite observations shall occur after at least one (1) week's prior notice to the evaluatee. Each evaluator shall make at least one (1) class or worksite observation and complete the Peer Observation and Evaluation of Faculty (Appendix J.7). Class/worksite may include a mediated learning environment. The criteria in section 17.3.2 shall be considered in writing the observation. Evaluators should observe different class sections or courses, when possible.
