Client’s Workplace Policies. In the performance of this Agreement at Client facilities, Contractor Personnel will comply with Client’s workplace policies of which they have been informed, including, but not limited to, the policies set forth in Exhibit H. Contractor acknowledges that all Contractor Personnel may be subject to a tax and child support check by Client. When required, Contractor must conduct, at its own expense, checks of the criminal records of Contractor Personnel in accordance with Client’s written policies and applicable Law. Without limiting the foregoing, Contractor will perform background checks on Contractor Personnel as set forth in Exhibit W. Client may prohibit any Contractor Personnel found to have a criminal record from performing Services hereunder. If Contractor fails to enforce this prohibition after Client provides notice to Contractor in accordance with Section 21.2(b), Client may terminate this Agreement on written notice to Contractor. Contractor shall comply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulations and all requirements of this Agreement promoting fair employment practices or prohibiting employment discrimination and unfair labor practices and shall not discriminate in the hiring of any applicant for employment nor shall any qualified employee be demoted, discharged or otherwise subject to discrimination in the tenure, position, promotional opportunities, wages, benefits or terms and conditions of their employment because of race, color, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, religion, disability, handicap, sexual orientation or for exercising any rights afforded by law. Contractor commits to purchasing supplies and services from certified minority or women-owned businesses, small businesses or businesses owned by socially or economically disadvantaged persons or persons with disabilities as specified in this Agreement. Notwithstanding this paragraph, Client hereby agrees to waive Contractor’s obligation to perform checks of the criminal records and tax and child support checks of Contractor Personnel in accordance with this paragraph for former and current employees or subcontractors of CGI who have been subject to such background checks previously.

Client’s Workplace Policies. In the performance of this Agreement at Client facilities, Contractor’s Personnel will comply with Client’s workplace policies, including, without limitation, the policies set forth in Exhibit M. Contractor also acknowledges that, pursuant to Sections 11.8 and 11.9 of the RFR, all Contractor Personnel are subject to a tax and child support check by Client and a criminal background check by the Commonwealth and that Contractor shall comply, and shall cause its Personnel (including Subcontractors) to comply, with the requirements described in Sections 11.8, 11.9 and 11.10 of the RFR. Contractor shall execute the attestation set forth in the Criminal Records Check Package and shall cause its Personnel and the Personnel of its Subcontractors to execute the conditional services form set forth in the Criminal Records Check Package as well as the Tax and Child Support Questionnaire and XXXX Request Form, each as set forth in Exhibit L. Contractor will distribute summaries of the state ethics laws, provided by Client to Contractor, to the Contractor’s Program Manager. Contractor’s Program Manager shall complete the Commonwealth’s online ethics training and submit a copy of his or her respective completion certificate to Client’s Program Manager within thirty (30) calendar days after commencement of performance of Services hereunder and every two (2) years thereafter.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Policy Consultant shall provide a drug-free workplace by complying with all provisions set forth in City’s Council Policy 100-5, attached hereto as Exhibit “D” and incorporated herein by reference. Consultant’s failure to conform to the requirements set forth in Council Policy 100-5 shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement and shall be cause for immediate termination of this Agreement by City.

  • HIV/AIDS Model Workplace Guidelines Grantee will:

  • Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.

  • Workplace Bullying Bullying for the purpose of this Article is any repeated or systemic behaviour which may be either physical, verbal or psychological including shunning, which would be seen by a reasonable person as intending to belittle, intimidate, coerce or isolate another person. Personal harassment and/or bullying does not include acceptable social banter in the workplace. Nor does it include actions occasioned through the exercise in good faith of management’s rights for bona fide operational requirements or progressive corrective discipline in a manner that is respectful of those involved.

  • Leave Policies III.P.1. Return at Expiration of Leave Upon the expiration of any leave, other than a military leave, the employee shall be returned to the same class of position or to any position to which the employee had been eligible to transfer at the time the leave of absence was granted.

  • DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS Contractor will comply with the requirements of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1990 and will provide a drug-free workplace by taking the following actions:

  • Service Locations X.X. Xxxxxx maintains various operational/service centers and locations through the United States and foreign jurisdictions. The services provided under this Agreement may be provided from one or more such locations. X.X. Xxxxxx may change the operational/service centers and locations as it deems necessary or appropriate for its business concerns.

  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS The Contractor shall be responsible for initiating, maintaining and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the Work.

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR 3.1 The Employer and the Union agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace does not promote the Employer’s business, employee well being, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect.

  • DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE FORM The Drug-Free Workplace Form is attached and shall be completed and submitted with your bid.
