CM Preconstruction Services. Commencing upon the date directed in an NTP issued by DCAMM for CM Preconstruction Services [remove if no Early Precon (which shall not be issued prior to the completion of certification of a study concerning the particular Work in accordance with M.G.L. c. 7C)], the For DCAMM Use Only CM shall work closely with DCAMM and the Designer to perform all tasks set forth in this Article 5.2 and as required under the Contract, including, without limitation, those set forth in Exhibit C (“CM Preconstruction Services”). CM Preconstruction Services shall include, without limitation: attend meetings; provide advice and recommendations to DCAMM, the Designer, and consultants during the design development phase of the Project and thereafter as required by reviewing design development and other construction documents as they are developed; provide advice and recommendations to DCAMM, the Designer, and their respective consultants relating to value engineering, estimating, budgeting, constructability, suitability of materials and equipment, critical path method scheduling, phasing, time, methods and sequence of construction, life cycle cost analyses, and the clarity, consistency and coordination of the contents of all documentation during the design development and construction documents phases; assist in the identification of utility incentives or other rebates for which the Project may qualify and provide information and/or documentation necessary to complete applications for the same; participate in the development of the Project master schedule, phasing, and relocation schedule and develop a detailed critical path method schedule that identifies all design activities, permits, and all other activities required to be completed before construction activities can begin and a preliminary construction schedule showing all phasing; develop the scope of work and prepare bid packages in concert with the Designer (DCAMM will provide a template for the Trade Contractor bid packages) for each category of Trade Contractor work to be bid and participate in the prequalification and selection of each Trade Contractor; develop the scope and prepare bid packages in concert with the Designer for each remaining category of contracted work, that is not Trade Contractor work, to be bid and prequalify and select each Subcontractor as defined by Law; all other services required for projects of the type and scope of the Project and customarily provided by a construction manager and/or requi...

  • Preconstruction Services At the Owner’s sole discretion and upon the Owner’s written direction, pursuant to a duly issued Work Order, the Construction Manager shall perform the Preconstruction Services. The Construction Manager shall coordinate the preparation of the Contract Documents by consulting with the Owner and the Architect regarding Drawings and Specifications as they are being prepared, and recommend alternate solutions whenever design details affect construction feasibility, cost or schedules, including without limitation, providing value engineering options. The Construction Manager shall promptly notify the Owner and Architect in writing of any apparent defects in the Contract Documents for any Project when it is discovered, as well as any apparent defects in the design documents for any Project, including without limitation, the Drawings and Specifications set forth in any Work Order affecting such Project.

  • Preconstruction Phase Services Preconstruction Phase Services shall mean all services described in Article 3.1, and any similar services described in the Request for Proposals, including such similar services as are described in the Construction Manager at Risk’s Response to the Request for Proposals to the extent they are accepted by Owner, but excluding any Early Work. Early Work shall be considered part of Construction Phase Services.

  • Installation Services 3.1 The Bitstream 2a Service includes a Standard Install as set out below (in each case to the extent that the relevant provisioning works are not already complete for the relevant Service Order).1

  • Implementation Services The Company and the Client have developed a plan for implementing the services to be provided hereunder, including with respect to the transition of responsibility for such services from the Client and its current administrator to the Company, which plan attached hereto as Schedule I (the “Implementation Plan”). The Company shall perform the services required to complete the Implementation Plan, as set forth therein (the “Implementation Services”). The Company and the Client shall comply with any applicable requirements agreed in the Implementation Plan.

  • Application Services Under an “Application Services” engagement, we will assist you with defining, developing and deploying end-to-end enterprise or departmental applications; tasks may include determining the optimal technology approach and caching strategy to deliver effective, high-performance applications; leveraging a best practice approach for building new applications which includes conducting user workshops, building wireframes, iterating, testing, documenting and mentoring to increase adoption; and enhancing, optimizing or redesigning existing applications for improved user experience, faster performance or extended functionality.

  • Mediation Services If we are unable to resolve the problem, then either party can contact the Department of Labour Mediation Service (a government department) for free assistance. The mediator will try to help us resolve the problem, but won’t make a decision as to who is right or wrong unless both parties want this.

  • CONSTRUCTION MANAGER’S SERVICES The services which the Construction Manager shall provide include, but are not limited to, those described or specified herein. The services described or specified shall not be deemed to constitute a comprehensive specification having the effect of excluding services not specifically mentioned.

  • Construction Administration Services The Engineer shall perform construction administration services during construction as necessary. Such services shall, as part of the services to be rendered for the Engineer's established fee, include as much of the Engineer's professional services and the services of the Engineer's consultants as the State deems necessary for the well-being of the project and efficient prosecution of the construction work, but shall not include the Engineer's undertaking continuous on-site observation of the work. If the Engineer fails to perform such duties in a conscientious and reasonable manner, the State may exercise its right to terminate this contract as hereinafter provided in Section T. Additionally, it is understood and agreed to by the Engineer and the State that the duties of the Engineer shall include, but not be limited to, the following services:
