Commissioning Support Services. The Architect shall work with the Construction Manager and Commissioning Agent during design and construction to ensure that the specified MEP system are fully commissionable. The Architect shall support the Commissioning Agent’s efforts as construction approaches completion and the MEP systems are commissioned. The Architect and engineering sub-consultants will meet with the Commission Agent to review relevant aspects of the project and will respond to review comments from the Commissioning Agent as required. Architect shall support the Commissioning Agent’s efforts as construction approaches completion and the MEP and HVAC systems are commissioned.
Commissioning Support Services. BHCCG will procure commissioning support services to help facilitate it meeting its functions, the service provider of which may change from time to time. Use by BHCC of these services, where this is necessary to allow appropriate advice on these functions to be given, will be included. This advice will be accessed through the same mechanisms as a request for support from BHCCG directly.

Commissioning Support Services (CSS) can typically be grouped into the following areas: • Business support services including finance, payroll, HR and IT • Healthcare procurement and provider management services • Transformation and service redesign services • Communications and patient and public engagement services • Business intelligence and analytical services • Specialist decision support services including medicines management and optimisation, individual funding request case management and supporting the commissioning of continuing healthcare and funded nursing care.
Commissioning Support Services. Leading up to and during commissioning, the contractor will be responsible for preparing and executing training and testing plans and schedules; and equipment, system, and facility start-up plans. The CMC will be responsible for observing and documenting the completion of the majority of these activities, with some training and test witnessing performed by the PMC. The Consultant’s role is to review and accept submittals and tasks performed by the contractor. Base Scope commissioning support services are described in Task J1, J2, and J3, while optional commissioning support services, which are to be completed at the City’s instruction, are described in Tasks J4, J5, J6, and J7. Level of effort for the base and optional tasks combined includes: • Review 20 planning phase at 8 hours per submittal; • 40 days of factory witness testing for commissioning phase for key equipment and systems; • Review up to 36 commissioning phase submittals at 6 hours per submittal; • 50 days of process observation and witness testing/support for process phase; • Review up to 20 start-up phase submittals; and • Review up to 24 observations reports and sampling plans.
