Compassionate Entitlement for Casual Teachers. (i) A Casual Teacher is entitled to up to two days of unpaid compassionate leave on each occasion when a member of the Employee’s immediate family or a member of the Employee’s household contracts or develops a serious illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or dies.
