Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Day Off. When any of the aforementioned holidays (clause 20.01) fall on employee's scheduled day off, the employee shall receive another day off with pay to be taken within sixty (60) calendar days. If such time off cannot be granted within sixty (60) calendar days, the employee will be paid one day's regular pay in lieu.

If such time off canthe employee has agreed in writing the substitute day can be scheduled up to 12 months after the holiday. When any of the above holidays falls during an employee’s scheduled vacation period, the holiday shall not be granted within sixty (60) calendar days, the employee will be paid one day's regular pay in lieudeducted from their vacation entitlement.
