Education Allowances. The Employer shall pay the full cost of any course of instruction required by the Employer for an employee to better qualify himself to perform his job. Payment shall be made upon commencement of the course, with an understanding that if an employee fails the course, it is the responsibility of the employee for further costs associated with that particular course. The employee must conscientiously attend and complete assignments and, if not, tuition shall be refunded to the Employer.

The Employer agrees to pay an annual uniform allowance of one hundred and twenty dollars ($120.00) to full-time employees and seventy dollars ($70.00) to part-time employees provided the employee is actively employed and receiving wages from the Employer on December 1st of each year. In addition to the above, once every three (3) years the Employer will reimburse the full-time Maintenance Mechanic up to a maximum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for the purchase of winter clothing required for the duties of the position. Reimbursement for purchase of winter clothing allowance will commence December To qualify for reimbursement, a single submission of original receipts of purchase shall be submitted to the Employer by December and on December for every three (3)year period thereafter. The Employer shall reimburse employees occupying the Registered Practical Nurse classification for fifty percent (50%) of their annual registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario provided that:
