Confirmation of stay. Once you have paid the full renting price, you and the homeowner will receive a confirmation of your stay approximately 4 weeks prior to the arrival date, stating the details of the accommodation, the homeowner/caretaker and the guests, the length of stay and other information.

Confirmation of stay part 1: 'start' This document must be completed immediately after registering at your host university (international office, registration office or Erasmus co-ordinator) and confirms the official start of your mobility. The section ‘Start’ confirms the official beginning of your mobility period at the host university. The partner university must confirm your first official academic day.
Confirmation of stay part 2: ’end’ This document must be completed immediately before your last official day at your host university (international office, registration office or Erasmus Co-ordinator) and confirms the official end of your mobility. The part ‘Last academic day’ confirms the end of your mobility. This last day can be held online or in physical presence in the host country or online from Germany (last course, lecture, exam). Private activities or holidays after the end of the semester must not be certified! The section ‘Departure’ confirms your departure in person to Germany. In case of online study the specific dates need to be confirmed in the confirmation of stay – section ‘Online Studies’ accordingly. Please note that the funding will be finally calculated after your return to Germany and only if the part to ‘departure’ is filled in by the host university accordingly. Please note, that we need a confirmation of your departure ‘Abreisebeleg‘ (plane ticket, de-registration by the city-hall, rental agreement e.g.) Please note the instructions on the back of this document. Please note that the funding will be finally calculated after your return to Germany. Private activities or holidays after your last examination and before your return to Germany must not be certified! Please note the instructions on the back of this document. Confirmation of stay. The Confirmation of Stay states the participant’s actual exchange period. This document is important for the correct calculation of the grant. Both students as well as staff members need to have this document completed by the receiving institution at the end of their stay and return a (scanned) copy to Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx from the International Office of the University of Hildesheim. We kindly ask incoming exchange students to inform the International Office of the University of Hildesheim about their departure four weeks in advance.
