Of those clients, 502 individuals received assistance under the Employment / Vocational component of the program that is cost-shared under the Canada-Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Island LMAPD Agreement. The priority areas of Education and Training served approximately 75 clients, the vast majority of whom were under 30 years of age, Employment Participation served approximately 430 clients, and the Connecting Employers and Persons with Disabilities priority area served fewer than 20 clients. Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Island has been collecting performance indicator data since April 1, 2015, following the 2014 – 2015 transition period. All indicator information, including progress against targets, is included in this report and will be made widely available to the public.   • PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES Contractor and/or subcontractor agree to comply with the provisions of §504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, (29 USC 794 et seq., as implemented in 45 CFR 84.1 et seq.), and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 as amended (42 USC 12101 et seq.; as implemented in 29 CFR 1630), as applicable, pertaining to the prohibition of discrimination against qualified persons with disabilities in all programs or activities, and if applicable, as implemented in Title 45, CFR, §84.1 et seq., as they exist now or may be hereafter amended together with succeeding legislation.

  • Students with Disabilities The Charter School shall comply with all federal special education laws and regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act The Contractor shall be and remain in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“Act”), to the extent applicable, during the term of the Contract. DAS may Terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to comply with the Act.

  • AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA) Contractor must comply with the ADA, which provides comprehensive civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities in the areas of employment, public accommodations, state and local government services, and telecommunications.

  • Education of Students with Disabilities 3.5.1. The DOE is the State of Hawaii's “state education agency” (SEA) and “local education agency” (LEA) for purposes of compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). All public schools, including charter schools, are part of and fall under the LEA. As such, the School shall comply with all applicable federal and State laws, rules, policies, procedures, and directives regarding the education of students with disabilities, including but not limited to Ch. 8-60, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).

  • Sick Leave and Personal Leave The Administrator shall be granted paid sick leave, as defined in Section 24-6 of The School Code, of twelve (12) workdays per contract year accumulative to three hundred forty (340) days. The Administrator shall be granted three (3) paid personal leave days per contract year for personal business. Unused personal leave days shall be credited towards the Administrator’s accumulated sick leave.

  • Sick and Personal Leave The Assistant Principal shall annually be entitled to twelve (12) days of sick leave and two (2) days of personal leave. Unused personal leave days will accumulate as sick leave days. Earned sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. Every sick day that is issued for the current school year and eventually not utilized during that school year will be multiplied by 1.5 at the end of the school year (e.g., 10 unused sick days on June 30, 2022 will be converted in a credit of 15 sick days for the Assistant Principal’s use.) This unused sick day multiplier will not be in effect during the four (4) years prior to retirement.
