CONTRACTING OF MAINTENANCE AND ENGINEERING WORK. 28.01 The Company will provide notice of intention to contract maintenance and/or engineering project work. The notice will be provided through IRC, CI and PLT meetings, and meetings between a skilled trades representative and the Engineering and Maintenance Leaders. The Company will provide any project information and the reasons for intending to use a contractor. The Union will be given opportunity to make representation to the Company on the project. The Company will give due consideration to the Union recommendations with respect to the following:
