Cooperative Projects. In the furtherance of cooperative projects provided for in Article III, 1e) of the Agreement, and of studies undertaken outside the region referred to in the Preamble of the Agreement, arrangements may be made with governments that are not members of the Commission. All such arrangements shall be made by the Director-General of the Organization.

Cooperative Projects. From time to time during the term of this -------------------- Agreement, the Parties may discuss the terms and conditions under which they may cooperate with respect to Cooperative Applications, including discussing the types of projects and formulating the terms of a project plan (a "Cooperative ----------- Application Project Plan"), which, upon agreement of the Parties, shall be ------------------------ attached as an Exhibit hereto. The Parties shall negotiate reasonably in an attempt to agree on the terms and conditions upon which they may cooperate with respect to one or more Cooperative Applications (which may include the applications set forth in Section 4.2 below), but agreement to such terms and conditions shall be in the reasonable discretion of each Party, and any failure to agree shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement. The Parties' intent with respect to information to be contained within a Cooperative Application Project Plan is described in Exhibit E hereto, as may be amended from time to time upon the mutual agreement of the Parties (each in the exercise of its sole discretion). Exhibit E further includes other information appropriate to represent any agreement between the Parties related to any such project plan. The provisions of this Agreement shall govern the Parties' actions in implementing any Cooperative Application Project Plan to which the Parties agree, except to the extent that such provisions herein are inconsistent with explicit provisions of that specific Cooperative Application Project Plan, in which event the provision of such Cooperative Application Project Plan shall govern. A breach of a Cooperative Application Project Plan, other than those terms relating to Intellectual Property Rights, ownership or licenses thereof granted by InterTrust, shall not constitute a material breach of this Agreement, unless expressly stipulated to the contrary in such Cooperative Application Project Plan.
Cooperative Projects. (a) Technical Cooperation Projects (TCPs) TCPs are designed by the GPs to meet their development needs and priorities and their design should have socio-economic impact. The TCPs provide the means for transfer of technology that enables RCA GPs to develop the capability to utilize well-established nuclear science and technology to address socio-economic development problems, in a sustainable manner.
Cooperative Projects. (a) Technical Cooperation Projects (TCPs) TCPs are identified by the GPs to meet their development needs and priorities and their design should have socio-economic impact. The TCPs enable RCA GPs to develop the capability to utilize well-established nuclear science and technology to address socio-economic development problems, in a sustainable manner. Although the TCPs may contain a research component, they are not primarily research projects. It is essential that the TCPs are in areas of development priorities of the GPs, which should have the physical infrastructure and human and financial resources to implement the project activities and to sustain the activities after the project is closed following completion of the delivery of the technical inputs. The technical inputs shall be in the form of: • Regional and national training courses; • Meetings for reviewing the progress of the projects and planning future activities; • Meetings to exchange technical information related to the projects; • Services of experts and consultants; and, • Award of contracts for specific tasks.

Related to Cooperative Projects

  • Project 3.01. The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the General Conditions.
