Corporation Initiated Temporary Transfers and Appointments a) When an employee is temporarily transferred by the Corporation to a position in a lower-paying job classification (e.g. to replace an absent employee), the employee shall continue to be paid at their regular rate, unless the employee accepts redeployment by the Corporation to a position in a lower paying job classification in lieu of being displaced pursuant to Article 15:01, in which case the employee shall receive the rate of pay for the new job classification.

  • Medical/Dental Appointments ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.

  • Initial Appointments The Company appoints the Trustee as the initial Paying Agent, the initial Registrar and the initial Conversion Agent.

  • Initial Appointment Upon initial appointment, a bargaining unit employee shall be issued a letter of offer, signed by the xxxx/director, citing specific terms and conditions of employment and his or her initial assignment of responsibilities. The University may enclose informational addenda, except that such addenda may not abridge the employee's rights or benefits provided in the BOT-UFF Agreement or BOT- UFF Policies. All academic year appointments for employees at a University shall begin on the same date. Two weeks prior to the beginning of classes each semester, the University shall send to the UFF Chapter a list of bargaining unit employees hired since the beginning of the previous semester, showing name; rank or title; department, college, program or employment unit; salary; and principal place of employment (campus). The initial letter of offer shall contain the following elements:

  • Office Space for Receiver and Corporation For the period commencing on the day following Bank Closing and ending on the one hundred eightieth (180th) day thereafter, the Assuming Bank agrees to provide to the Receiver and the Corporation, without charge, adequate and suitable office space (including parking facilities and vault space), furniture, equipment (including photocopying and telecopying machines), email accounts, network access and technology resources (such as shared drive) and utilities (including local telephone service and fax machines) at the Bank Premises occupied by the Assuming Bank for their use in the discharge of their respective functions with respect to the Failed Bank. In the event the Receiver and the Corporation determine that the space provided is inadequate or unsuitable, the Receiver and the Corporation may relocate to other quarters having adequate and suitable space and the costs of relocation and any rental and utility costs for the balance of the period of occupancy by the Receiver and the Corporation shall be borne by the Assuming Bank. Additionally, the Assuming Bank agrees to pay such bills and invoices on behalf of the Receiver and Corporation as the Receiver or Corporation may direct for the period beginning on the date of Bank Closing and ending on Settlement Date. Assuming Bank shall submit it requests for reimbursement of such expenditures pursuant to Article VIII of this Agreement.

  • Fixed Term Appointment (a) An employee and an employer may agree that the employment of the employee will end:

  • Hiring and Appointments Section 4.1 as specifically established in Subsections 4.2(A), (E) and (F) applies to part-time hourly appointees.

  • Appointment of Key Sub-Contractors The Supplier shall ensure that all Sub-Contracts contain a provision: requiring the Supplier to pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to the Sub-Contractor within a specified period not exceeding thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice; requiring that any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion and that undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed; requiring the Sub-Contractor to include in any Sub-Contract which it in turn awards suitable provisions to impose, as between the parties to that Sub-Contract, requirements to the same effect as those required by sub-clauses 5.17.1 and 5.17.2 directly above; and conferring a right to the Customer to publish the Supplier’s compliance with its obligation to pay undisputed invoices within the specified payment period. The Supplier shall pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to a Sub-Contractor within thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice. Any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor to the Supplier shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion. Undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for the Supplier failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed. Notwithstanding any provision of Clauses 9.2 (Confidentiality) and 13 (Publicity, Media and Official Enquiries) if the Supplier notifies the Customer that the Supplier has failed to pay an undisputed Sub-Contractor’s invoice within thirty (30) days of receipt, or the Customer otherwise discovers the same, the Customer shall be entitled to publish the details of the late or non-payment (including on Government websites and in the press).

  • Limited Term Appointments (A) A limited term appointment is for a stated period of time, and carries no implication of renewal or continuation beyond the stated term of the limited term appointment. Notwithstanding, a member hired pursuant to [(B) (e)] below shall be given a probationary appointment, provided the member completes the required qualifications for the position, as set out in the letter of appointment, within the time period specified in his/her letter of appointment.

  • Non-Promotive Appointment 254. An employee or officer who is a permanent appointee following completion of the probationary period or 2,080 hours of permanent service, and who accepts a non-promotive appointment in a classification having the same salary grade, or a lower salary grade, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary step which is the same as that received in the prior appointment, or if the salary steps do not match, then the salary step which is immediately in excess of that received in the prior appointment, provided that such salary shall not exceed the maximum of the salary grade. Further increments shall be based upon the seniority increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.

  • VACANCIES AND NEW POSITIONS 17.01 The Gallery shall post notice of permanent and temporary job vacancies subject to Article 4 – Temporary Full-Time Employees for a period of seven (7) calendar days before any such job is filled. Probationary employees shall not be entitled to apply for posted vacancies. It is agreed that the Gallery will not interview external applicants until applications from existing employees have been reviewed and bargaining unit employees who are qualified in the opinion of the Gallery have been interviewed. Further, the Gallery will notify existing applicants in writing once the successful application is selected.
