Common use of Council Leave Clause in Contracts

Council Leave. Upon request, the Board shall grant up to ten (10) days nonaccumulative to be used by designated Council representatives to attend conferences, workshops, or conventions which are directly related to the Council's labor-management relationship with the District. This leave must be requested by the Council at least three (3) working days prior to the effective date. The Council shall reimburse the District an amount equal to one day substitute salary for each leave day taken.
