Credit for Previous Comparable Experience. New employees hired into the Meat Cutter classification will be classified according to previous comparable experience. New employees hired into other classifications will be classified according to previous comparable Safeway experience. New employees having previous comparable experience may be paid a lower scale of wages than their experience calls for, but not less than the minimum rate established by this Agreement for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of employment. This thirty (30) day period may be extended by mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer for the purpose of enabling an employee, or the Employer, to obtain confirmation of claimed previous experience. Providing the employee's services are retained, then after a thirty (30) day period, or such extended period as mutually agreed upon, they shall receive any difference between their rate of pay, and the rate for which their experience qualifies them. It is further understood that the rate paid retroactively shall not apply to the first two (2) calendar weeks. New employees shall receive written notification advising them of the requirements to qualify for previous experience credit. Once per month, the Employer will provide to the Union a list that includes the names of employees who have been granted credit for previous experience and their wage rate. The Union shall have thirty (30) days from receipt of such notice to challenge the amount of credit given or not given. No consideration shall be given to any disagreement pertaining to the credit for previous experience if presented later than fifteen (15) days following completion of the employee’s probationary period, unless extended by mutual agreement between the Union and the Employer, provided the Employer has:

Credit for Previous Comparable Experience. All employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience. Employees having previous comparable experience may be paid a lower scale of wages than their experience calls for but not less than the minimum rate established by this Agreement for a probationary period not to exceed Article 7 provided the employee's services are retained and their experience is accepted as comparable, then after the probationary period they shall receive any difference between their probationary rate of pay and the rate for which their experience qualifies them. It is further understood that the rate paid retroactively shall not apply to the first ten (10) working days. Employees shall receive written notification showing any credit for previous experience. In calculating credit for previous comparable experience, employees shall receive credit for their previous experience to a maximum of twenty-four (24) months credit but may agree to exceed the limit where there is merit. It shall be optional for the Co-operative to grant credit to those employees who are claiming previous comparable experience if such employees have been out of the industry for three (3) years or more. In the event of any disagreements as to credit granted for previous experience, such disagreements shall be considered a grievance and the grievance procedure provided in this Agreement shall apply.   • CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE All employees shall be classified according to previous comparable supermarket experience. Previous comparable experience shall be granted on the following basis:

  • WASHINGTON’S STATEWIDE PAYEE DESK Contractor represents and warrants that Contractor is registered with Washington’s Statewide Payee Desk, which registration is a condition to payment.

  • Credit for Prior Experience Credit shall be given new employees in initial step placement of the wage scale set forth in Appendix A for prior experience directly related to the same classification. Credit for prior experience which is somewhat related to the position for which the applicant applies will be granted on a basis of one (1) year credit for two (2) years’ experience.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.

  • Regulatory Good Standing Certification - Explanation - Continued If Vendor responded to the prior attribute that "No", Vendor is not in good standing, Vendor must provide an explanation of that lack of good standing here for TIPS consideration. No response
