CREDIT FOR SCHOOLING. The basis for approving courses that permit lateral advancement on the Compensation Schedule shall be that the courses completed have direct applicability to the subject(s) being taught in the District, are of significant scholarly or academic merit and provide graduate credit from an accredited institution of higher learning. Undergraduate level courses in the content area of the member’s assignment that the member has not yet taken for existing licensure, courses that further licensure requirements in an additional highly qualified area, courses supporting the district Teaching and Learning Plan, district professional development courses and language courses to facilitate communication with non-English speaking stakeholders approved by the Building Principal and the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning or designee may be substituted for graduate level courses. Course work required to complete licensure requirements shall not be credited toward the salary schedule at the time of employment. Bilingual and ESL teachers who are required to take eighteen (18) hours of state mandated coursework in order to teach bilingual and ESL classes will not lose credit for those hours if they earn a Master’s degree after completing them. They will be carried over for advancement on the salary schedule upon completing their Master’s degree.

  • Presentation for Scaling Purchaser shall present products so that they may be Scaled in an eco- nomical and safe manner. If prior to Scaling, Included Timber is to be mixed with other timber, Purchaser shall, prior to mixing, provide for distinguishing, by means ap- proved by Forest Service, each product included in this contract. Trees or pieces presented for Scaling that have not been bucked to separate material meeting minimum piece standards from material not meeting minimum piece standards due to diameter, shall be Scaled as though such bucking had been done. Deductions made for rot, check, or other defects re- sulting from abnormal delay in Scaling caused by Pur- chaser shall be recorded separately and charged to Xxx- ber Sale Account under B3.47. Any timber that has been removed from Sale Area during the period of this contract, but remains unscaled after Termination Date, shall be Scaled at the earliest rea- sonable date.

  • Fee for Services In consideration of the Services rendered by the Contractor and subject to clause 6.3 below, the Union shall pay to the Contractor a fee (the “Fee”) at the rate of and in the manner specified in the Schedule to this Agreement. The fee for service/s will be agreed in writing for the length of the agreement and will be reviewed at the organisations discretion and schedule, annually as a minimum. The Contractor shall submit monthly to the Union an invoice on, or as soon as reasonably possible after, the last day of each month detailing the Services (number of hours) provided within that month. The invoice shall show any value added tax separately. The Union may deduct from any sums payable to the Contractor any sums that the Contractor owes to the Union. If notice of termination is given under clause 13 and the Union does not require the Contractor to provide the Services during the notice period the Fee shall cease to accrue on the date upon which notice of termination was given. Upon termination of this Agreement under clause 13, the Contractor shall be entitled to receive payment of the Fee accrued only to the end of the day on which termination occurs. The Contractor shall be responsible for all day to day personal expenses incurred in the performance of the Services. If the Contractor is unable to provide the Services for any reason the Contractor shall not be entitled to receive any Fee in respect of that period of unavailability.

  • Fees for Services The compensation of the Subadviser for its services under this Agreement shall be calculated and paid by the Adviser in accordance with the attached Schedule C. Pursuant to the Investment Advisory Agreement between the Fund and the Adviser, the Adviser is solely responsible for the payment of fees to the Subadviser.

  • Contract for Services The parties intend this Agreement to be a contract for the provision of services and not a contract for the sale of goods. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), the Uniform Computer Information Transaction Act (UCITA), the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and any substantially similar legislation as may be enacted, shall not apply to this Agreement.

  • Requests For Samples By Authorized Users Requests for samples by Authorized Users require the consent of the Contractor. Where Contractor refuses to furnish a sample, Authorized User may, in its sole discretion, make a determination on the performance capability of the Product or on the issue in question.   • Fee-for-Service In providing its services and operations, Contractor will maintain compliance with requirements of the AOD Policy and Procedure Manual including additions and revisions, incorporated by reference herein. The maximum length of stay is set by the specific funding source and an extension beyond a 90 day period may be granted only by written approval from the Alcohol and Other Drug Services (AOD) Administrator, pursuant to a Contractor’s written request outlining and justifying the client’s clinical need. Reimbursement will be approved only for clients who referred through the formal referral process outlined in the AOD Policy and Procedure Manual.

  • Request for Services Customer shall make an appointment with Exasol for Operational Services and coordinate the scope of the services with Exasol. The appointment must be made at least three Business Days for small to medium tasks (less than 0.5 days effort) and 15 Business Days for large tasks (more than 0.5 days effort) before the planned service actions.

  • Fees for Service and Taxes A. The Local Exchange Company will not be charged a fee for storage services provided by BST to the Local Exchange Company, as described in Section I of this Agreement.

  • Administration of Medication Employees required to administer or apply medication(s) prescribed by a qualified medical practitioner, will be trained at the Employer's expense. Employees who have not received this training will not be permitted to administer such substances.

  • Reimbursement for Services Rendered If this Agreement is held to be invalid for any reason, and the PRACTICE is required to refund fees paid by You, You agree to pay the PRACTICE an amount equal to the fair market value of the medical services You received during the time period for which the refunded fees were paid.
