Family Military Leave. Teachers who wish to spend time with their spouse or domestic partner before their spouse or domestic partner leaves for deployment/departure for military service overseas or while their spouse or domestic partner is on leave from deployment/service may take up to fifteen (15) days of leave. Teachers may use available personal leave days for a portion of the leave. The remainder of the leave will be unpaid. Family Military Leave. Employees may use vacation leave for leave as required by the Family Military Leave Act, RCW 49.77.
Family Military Leave. Employees shall upon request, be granted a family military leave of absence in accordance with the federal and state law for the purpose of spending time with immediate family members serving in the armed forces immediately prior to or following their deployment to a zone of conflict or when on leave from the same. The first three (3) days of such leave shall be paid. The employee may also utilize any additional unused personal leave.
Family Military Leave. Eligible employees will be granted 30 days of unpaid military leave during the time Federal and State deployment orders are in effect. Employees are required to give at least a 14 days’ notice of the intended date upon which the family military leave will commence if leave will consist of 5 or more consecutive work days. The leave may not be taken if the employee has not exhausted all accrued vacation leave, personal leave, compensatory leave, and any other leave that may be granted to the employee, except sick leave and disability leave. The employee must consult with their supervisor to schedule the leave so as not to unduly disrupt the operations of the employer. For all Family Military Leaves, employees should provide their supervisor with a copy of the written orders.
Family Military Leave. Family Military Leave is available to employees in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Nebraska Family Military Leave Act, Sections 55-501 through 55-507 R.R.S. and the amendments to the Family Medical Leave Act made by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2008 (29 X.X.X. §0000 et seq.).
Family Military Leave. Employees eligible for Family Military Leave pursuant to 820 ILCS 151/1 (Illinois Compiled Statutes), et seq., shall be granted such leave without loss of benefits. The Board and the employee shall continue to pay their respective shares of the employee's benefits for the duration of the leave.
Family Military Leave a. Family Military Leave: Up to five (5) days of family military leave, not deducted from sick leave, per incident, non-accumulative, shall be allowed each teacher upon a spouse or child being called to active duty by the United States Armed Forces.
Family Military Leave. The Family Military Law is intended to allow employees time-off to spend with immediate family members who are going to or returning home from a deployment to areas of armed conflict.
Family Military Leave a. The Illinois Family Military Leave Act allows the spouse or parent of a soldier subject to a deployment order to take unpaid leave. An eligible faculty member must have been employed by the College for at least twelve (12) months and have worked at least 1,250 hours during that period. An eligible faculty member can take up to thirty (30) days leave and must first exhaust all accrued personal leave.
Family Military Leave. If a teacher is called for active family military leave, they shall be excused from school. Any reimbursement from the government for time will be paid to the school district to help cover the cost for a hired certified teacher up to the cost of the substitute pay or the employed teachers’ daily salary, whichever is less. If a teacher is called to active family military leave, in case of a national emergency or war, arrangements will be made with the Superintendent.
