Family Military Leave. Teachers who wish to spend time with their spouse or domestic partner before their spouse or domestic partner leaves for deployment/departure for military service overseas or while their spouse or domestic partner is on leave from deployment/service may take up to fifteen (15) days of leave. Family Military Leave. Employees may use vacation leave for leave as required by the Family Military Leave Act, RCW 49.77.
Family Military Leave. Employees shall upon request, be granted a family military leave of absence in accordance with the federal and state law for the purpose of spending time with immediate family members serving in the armed forces immediately prior to or following their deployment to a zone of conflict or when on leave from the same. The first three (3) days of such leave shall be paid. The employee may also utilize any additional unused personal leave.
Family Military Leave. Eligible employees will be granted 30 days of unpaid military leave during the time Federal and State deployment orders are in effect. Employees are required to give at least a 14 days’ notice of the intended date upon which the family military leave will commence if leave will consist of 5 or more consecutive work days. Family Military Leave a. The Illinois Family Military Leave Act allows the spouse or parent of a soldier subject to a deployment order to take unpaid leave. An eligible faculty member must have been employed by the College for at least twelve (12) months and have worked at least 1,250 hours during that period. An eligible faculty member can take up to thirty (30) days leave and must first exhaust all accrued personal leave.
Family Military Leave. If a teacher is called for active family military leave, they shall be excused from school. Any reimbursement from the government for time will be paid to the school district to help cover the cost for a hired certified teacher up to the cost of the substitute pay or the employed teachers’ daily salary, whichever is less.
