Crosscutting issues. Each Twinning partner is required to comply with the equal-opportunities requirements of the European Union. The principal of equal opportunity will be integrated into all stages of the project implementation. The activities envisaged under the present Project should not negatively affect the environment. During the implementation of the Project, the production of printed material will be kept to the strictest minimum, single use plastics avoided and digital means used as much as possible.
Crosscutting issues. Cross-cutting issues such as the gender approach are considered. Men and women areequally creative and innovative. Yet, women remain under-represented in many areas. Despite general improvements in gender equality around the world, gender gaps in patenting persist. The World Intellectual Property Organization latest data show that just 30.5% of the international patent applications included at least one women inventor. As such, more work is needed to ensure that both men and women can equally access anduse the IP system and profit fully from their creative and innovative assets. The project will use the gender approach which allows corrective measures to be taken to address all forms of inequality and discrimination suffered by women vis-à-vis men, which is essential for improving training reform. Equal access in compliance with the constitutional principal of equality will be guaranteed for participation in this project. In its implementation phase, equal opportunities principle will be integrated in all phases of the project. The project will take the gender approach into account in the programming of the actions, in its implementation and in the management of all its activities. In this way, it will aim to contribute to guaranteeing gender equality in the IP Sector. The principle of equal opportunity will be integrated into all stages of the project implementation. Practices in ensuring equitable gender participation in the project will be guaranteed. Equal participation of women and men will be secured through appropriate information and publicity material, in the design of projects and access to opportunities they offer. The main criteria for staff recruitment will be appropriate qualifications and experience in similar projects, not sex or age. Both men and women will have equal opportunities and salaries. Concerning the sustainability of the environment: the consideration of the environmentas a global public good involves the mainstreaming of the fight against climate change as a priority in all actions that are implemented.
Crosscutting issues. The principles of equal opportunities will be applied to all involved parties and stakeholders through the project implementation process including equal opportunities in trainings, study visits and therefore will be reflected in all documents developed during the project. Every effort will be made to ensure broad gender representation at all stages of the project implementation and to give equal rights to the staff from all involved parties participating in the project activities. The activities during the implementation of the project, are not expected to have negative affect on environment, but in order to have positive influence on the environment the production of printed material will be minimized.
Crosscutting issues. The project will be implemented by NCDC, the Beneficiary Administration (BA), where more than 70% of the employees are women with equitable engagement in the organizations management, impartial access to decent work for women of all ages and equal opportunity to participate in the organizational policy, decision making and governance processes. The project declares equal health opportunities as its specific objective aims at “Genomic Surveillance for Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases” which means that project outcomes will ensure equity and equality in the access to quality preventive and curative health care and will benefit Georgian population irrespective of gender, disability, racial, religion, and belief, ethnic or social origin. The principles of equal opportunities will be applied to all involved parties and stakeholders through the project implementation process as well as will be reflected in all documents developed during the project. The project objectives reflect the principles of The Oviedo Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Dignity of the Human Being with regard to the Application of Biology and Medicine imposing prohibition of financial gain and disposal of a part of the human body, including blood. Whilst environmental requirements are not immediately applicable to the implementation of the project, if any such situation arises, both partners are required to comply with the environmental requirements of the EU.

  • Dimensions Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of IT (including Web/Internet, database applications and data warehousing) and business/industry work experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or project, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.

  • Prohibition on Contracts with Companies Boycotting Israel To the extent that Texas Government Code, Chapter 2271 applies to this Agreement, PROVIDER certifies that (a) it does not currently boycott Israel; and (b) it will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. PROVIDER acknowledges this Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.

  • Vaccine Passports Pursuant to Texas Health and Safety Code, Section 161.0085(c), Contractor certifies that it does not require its customers to provide any documentation certifying the customer’s COVID-19 vaccination or post-transmission recovery on entry to, to gain access to, or to receive service from the Contractor’s business. Contractor acknowledges that such a vaccine or recovery requirement would make Contractor ineligible for a state-funded contract.
