Common use of Day Observed Clause in Contracts

Day Observed. ‌ If a date specific holiday listed in Section 17.2 falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be the County observed holiday. If a date specific holiday listed in Section 17.2 falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be the County observed holiday. All other date specific holidays shall be observed on the date specified in Articles 17.2.
