Early Return. An employee who is on a leave of absence without pay, not covered by any other provision of this Agreement, may return from the leave before its expiration date if the employee provides the director with a written notice to that effect at least 15 days before the date of return.
Early Return. Any school with two (2) or more consecutive “D” grades, or a grade of “F” Priority, will be identified as an Early Return School that will return up to four (4) days prior to the first contracted workday of school year 2017-2018. Should there be insufficient funds available to finance all Early Return Schools, “F” schools shall have first priority. The traditional pre-planning week continues as contractually outlined. All teachers throughout the District shall receive a reminder notification of this contract provision with their May paychecks explaining conditions that require returning early, the number of days and dates, and the methods by which affected teachers at Early Return Schools will be notified.
Early Return. No person shall be compensated for illness or injury suffered during a Prepaid Leave. However, in the event of an ongoing illness or injury, the employee shall have the right to terminate the leave effective with the first day following two (2) weeks notice provided to the Department of Human Resources. Proof of illness must be substantiated as described in Article 17:03. Upon termination of the leave due to illness or injury, the employee shall be paid in accordance with Article 17:01. Upon termination of the leave, the University will return the employee to active status, and the University shall pay to the employee a lump sum amount equal to monies deferred plus interest less required statutory deductions accrued to the date of the termination of the Plan. Income Tax During each taxation year, the participating employee's income tax liability shall be in accordance with the Canadian Income Tax Act and the amount of withholding tax deducted at source by the University shall be based on monies actually received by the employee in each taxation year subject to the acceptance of this Plan by Revenue Canada.
Early Return. An Occasional Teacher may terminate a pregnancy leave or parental leave and return to work subject to Article 1003(e).

Early Return. A teacher may make written application to the Superintendent for reinstatement prior to the expiration of the leave. The Board reserves the right in its sole discretion to approve requests for early return from leave on the basis of each individual case.

If the insured is obliged to interrupt their trip due to: - the death of a family member, the person responsible for taking care of their minor or disabled children, or of their professional substitute, - hospitalisation due to serious illness or serious bodily injury of their spouse or de facto partner, or first-degree ascendants or descendants who have remained in a European Union member country or in Switzerland and which involves a vital prognosis following notice of the medical report by the treating doctor with the insurer’s assistance provider, - the occurrence of serious damage from fire, explosion, theft or caused by forces of nature in the insured’s primary or secondary residence or in their professional premises and which imperatively requires their presence at the premises in question, The insurer will organise and take care of the return of the insured to their place of residence. If the time limit permits and the presence of the insured is necessary for the continuation of the journey, the insurer will organise and take care of the return of the insured to the place where they can meet up with the other participants of the trip. Repatriation or transport of other insured persons: If, following the insured’s repatriation, the accompanying persons insured by the same contract wish to be repatriated, the insurer will organise and take care of their return up to a maximum of 4 persons.
Early Return a. In special circumstances, a teacher may return to duty earlier than provided in the agreed-upon leave at the discretion of the Board.

In the case of an incomplete pregnancy, the death of the child, or other special situations, a teacher may return to duty earlier than provided in the agreed-upon leave at the discretion of the Board. The teacher intending to make an early return to duty shall submit a written application and a medical certificate.
