Death in Family. Upon approval of the Superintendent of Schools, eligible bargaining unit members will be granted four (4) days of leave with full pay during each school year for the purposes of bereavement upon each death of a member of the employee's family and close relatives, and xxxxxx's family and close relatives. For purposes of this section, four (4) days shall mean four (4) school days. Such leaves shall not be cumulative and shall not be charged against sick leave.
