Death in Family. In the event of death in the employee's family, immediate family shall be defined as parent, child, step child, step grandchild, step parent, step sibling, step grandparent, spouse, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, uncle, aunt, nephew, niece, and in-laws bearing any of these relationships or any other member of the family unit living in the same household no matter what degree of relationship.
